@143fergie does a great sheep impression!

In this video you can see the dog is attached to a 15 foot long line, yet still choosing to remain in the correct position next to her handler, even with the added distraction of another dog.
Debbie was part of our class training level 1. She's now working towards off lead heel walking. Lilly and Debbie are NAILING IT!!!! .

Test season over for us. Really high standard of dogs and handlers out there. Lots learned! #untilnextyear

*NAME REQUIRED * Need to change this guys name, too similar to another dog of mine. His names Bailey at the min. He's a strong red lab. SUGGESTIONS PLEASE?

User

Wow I went for a one to one session with my friend and her dog as our dogs had same problems with walking on the lead. When I turned up I wasn't sure what to expect and was really nervous Ollie would show me up however Andy was amazing. He explained what we were doing wrong and the effect that had on how the dog behaved. I didn't once feel embarrassed or like I had done everything wrong. He then showed us how to do it properly then got us to do it while he gave pointers. I left the class full of confidence that I will be able to continue the training at home and can't wait to see the effects. Thank you Andy!

User

What a difference our first session with Andrew has made. Learned more about our dog in an hour with Andrew than we learned since we got our dog, Andrew makes things so easy to understand and makes it a joy to learn new things.

User

We would highly recommend the six week training course we had with Kylie and Andy. It is more an owner training course than dog training and working on your relationship with your dog. We have seen a marked improvement in Clodagh over the course and in our relationship with her. 1:1s with Kylie and Andy set the tone perfectly. We need to stay focused on what we have learnt going forward.

User

We took our dog for a 1-2-1 session with Andy to help with lead walking and possession issues. Andy showed us in one session how to correct the issues we had. He explained how our influence on our dog effected his behaviour in a way that made sense to us and without making us feel that we were doing it all wrong. I'd thoroughly recommend a 1-2-1 session. I can honestly say that this is the first time it has all clicked into place. Thanks Andy!

User

We had our first training session with Andrew today, he was brilliant with our 6 month old springer & us! We have ditched the harness and he's walking so much better on the rope lead and hardly any pulling tonight when out for his walk thank you and we are looking forward to more training

User

We contacted Andrew to see if he could help us at home with our hyper 9 month old lab, Skye. Andrew was more than happy to help. As our main issue was her behaviour at home he was happy to travel the 40 minutes to us. We knew that the dog wasn't the issue but rather us and how we approached her behaviour. He showed us some techniques and advised where we were going wrong. Already we can see a difference in her behaviour in the space of a couple of hours, yes it will still take some perseverance from us but we didn't think we would get the reaction we have so quickly! Thank you again Andrew!

User

This was McGreggor's first training session and it couldnt have gone better. Andy was very friendly and provided excellent advise and tips from the start. I would highly recommend this class and can't wait for the next one - thanks Andy 🐶

User

Thanks so much for our first 1:1 with Herbie last weekend Andy. It was fascinating to talk through all the basics, and what a difference already. Super happy about what we’ve achieved with only one session, and excited to do lots more. Just been for a brilliant walk, no challenges, no pulling, no lying down... joy!

User

Really good session with Andy this morning. Lots of sensible advice in a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Can already see a difference in the dogs and hopefully I can keep up all the effort before going back for our next session in two weeks time!

User

Our goal for Murphy was to have him walking at heel on lead with 0 pulling and attention on us when required. 100% delivered. We were part of the first group of dogs trained by Andy and Kylie. The classes were outdoors which was really useful and allowed us to train Murphy in a setting that was appropriate and close to real life situations. The first week Murphy was incredibly excited and not really focused on us, but with great direction and patient coaching he had transformed and was great, even before we got to the last class! All the training sessions were about building on knowledge and skills you learned the week before and it really made sense all put together and in the order it was delivered. The 121 sessions were really worth it as well, wish I had done it before I had. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

User

My pup is an angel at home but was getting worse and worse outside as he was growing up and I knew it was my fault. His on lead antics were causing me to turn into a human kite whenever he spotted another dog I decided to give a training session a go with Andy but tbh I was dreading it.

Wish I started earlier! The whole group were lovely and Andy has a very calm yet assertive technique to his training which worked wonders on my dog straight away. This calmed me down in turn so glad I went and I'm seeing results already in more ways than expected after just one session.

User

Last week we visited Andrew for our first session of training. The training Andrew gave us was great, it was clear, easy to understand and we could see how much sense it made from the start. Andrew put us at ease and our dog responded instantly to him, we were confident with what we needed to do when the session ended. Already our dog is calmer and responding well to the training! Look forward to our next session

User

Just to say a big thank you to Andy for his amazing advice and showing us the techniques for the owners of a golden retriever who is only 5 months old and was ruling the house. Within 20-30 min and slight changes for the owners there was a difference in the dog, we are now more in charge. We have been able to walk, play and enjoy our puppy without constantly telling her of. We are forever grateful for this wonderful man's work and commitment to helping others and there unruly pets. Mazing will be using him again. Give him a try. Brilliant service five out of five.

User

Just had our first training session with Rollo this morning, found out it was more my behaviour that needed to change, he's like a different dog now. I'm looking forward to our next session and will be recommending Andrew to all friends

User

Just had my first one to one with Andy today with my two seven months' old Springers. Andy was fantastic and I'm looking forward to joining the forthcoming Bootcamp!

User

Just finished a 6 week course with Andy and Kylie. I will recommend them to anyone I know who requires training, support and guidance with their dog. What a remarkable change in our dog’s behaviour and attitude both indoors and out - all family members have mucked in to consolidate everything we were taught/practised at our Monday evening classes and although we are by no means where we want to be yet, we will get there now that we have the correct method and understanding.

User

I would highly recommend Andy. I have two 14month old working springers who I thought were getting on well apart from chasing the swallows, until I learned how much they were controlling me! Within two minutes, he had them walking to heel and focused and showed me how to correct them before a behaviour was carried out. I now hopefully with consistent training for me, will have very well trained, focused dogs. I will definitely be returning for more lessons and tips.

User

I would highly recommend Andy to anyone looking for dog training, whether for a family pet or a working dog. He has a great understanding of what dogs need and I saw great results after my first session with him. He has made me more aware of how my actions affect my dogs and we are gradually working on correcting them. He also showed me how to maintain the good behaviour we have achieved so far, resulting in a happier dog (and owner). Andy always has time and the patience to answer any questions I have, which is great, because he is currently helping me with 3 'hope to be' working dogs. His techniques are firm but kind and my dogs are responding extremely well.

I certainly wouldn't look any further. Thanks Andy!

User

I wanted to wait to leave my review so I could be as honest as possible about it but after only three days since we had a one to one with Andy, all I can is wow! I took my 5 1/2 month old lab to him on Wednesday evening for some heel work training and the difference in her now (Saturday) is like I've got a whole new dog!

I've tried and failed trying to use both a lead that attaches to her collar and a harness but she was still pulling and trying to get her own way all the time - and I knew it was all my fault. Once Andy explained what I was doing wrong and showed me how to do things right, Lily was able to resist having a ball thrown in front of her and was walking around one of Andy's dogs but keeping her attention on me.

We're just back from a VERY successful and relaxed walk, although we need to practice more walking past other dogs and people as they are still very tempting for her to pull away to get to. Once we have this sorted I'd like to go back to Andy to learn heel work off the lead and better retrieval and recall. I've also recommended him to one of my friends who is having similar issues with her lab.

User

I recently finished the Fife Dog Training Boot Camp with Andy and Kylie, and can highly recommend it to anyone. One of the issues I had with my now 18-month old Labrador is he would pull and lunge to get to other dogs whenever we walked near them on walks, he is very strong and even caused me injury. After six weeks of hard work, I can now, for example, walk him on a loose lead, and he is focusing more on me. I knew it wouldn't be a quick fix and I'm still continuing to work on things learnt throughout the training classes, but the difference in Logie at the end of the six-week training block to how he was in the beginning still amazes me. During the last lesson we were doing heel work weaves around the other dogs, when a few weeks earlier he wouldn't have been able to cope with that proximity, and he walks great on a loose lead. I got so much out of the training programme and feel a lot more positive dealing with things. I highly recommend Honoris Gundogs & Dog Training, there is a lot of support and advice given alongside the hands-on training side of things. Thank you!

User

I highly recommend Andy, we have a very headstrong springer, couldn't believe the difference in him within 20 minutes of training, lots of hard work to go but definite difference already

User

I got Andrews number from Facebook for my brother. They both attended today and really cant thank Andrew enough. Pretty much immediate results. Really easy to deal with and great communication throughout. Cant recommend highly enough.

User

I came along with my daughter to watch your training and decide whether I would pass your name on to my clients who often ask for help as I used to train dogs myself (can't do it anymore due to current injury).

I am totally comfortable with passing on your details. Love your methods - and your attitude .

User

Had our first session yesterday with both dogs who have pulled on their leads for 3 years making our walks not enjoyable at all. It was well worth making the journey as by the end of the session both dogs were walking beside us instead of way out in front. The last couple of days we have continued with what we were shown and what a difference already. We can’t thank you enough

User

Had our first session today with both our spaniels. Our 6 month old pup had started to develop fear aggression and was barking at strangers and strange dogs. We had a one hour session to assess the dogs and us, following Andrew's lead and training we have had a marked improvement already and it's only been a few hours since the session. Despite both dogs going to obedience classes we will book more sessions with Andrew maybe once a month or so, with the result we have had so far we can highly recommend Andrew.

User

Had my first training session tonight and it went great and I have left confident in training my dog to the next level and I will be booking back in as soon as walking to heel, sitting and staying has been completed cheers again

User

Had a super one to one session with Ruthven our very excitable lab yesterday. Within minutes Andy had Ruthvens (8 months old) attention & was behaving a lot better for both him & Emily. Thanks Andy & we’re looking forward to our next visit

User

Had a 1:1 training with Andy last week and I was amazed by how much he managed to teach me and the dog in only one session! Our dog was terrible for pulling on the lead and not listening to us but after being shown a few simple techniques by Andy aka Scottish dog whisperer. Daisy has became a much more obedient dog and we have learned the skills required to keep her that way! Thankyou for the session Andy and sorry again for sleeping in and turning up late!

User

Great group session! Set at just the right level for us, came away with lots to practice! Looking forward to the next session!

User

Great first 1-1 with our springer Ruby. Andy had her walking right beside him within 1 minute. Just took her out for our first walk following the advice and was a pleasure, usually dragged everywhere. Thank you so much. Mary

User

First training session with Andy today and within minutes we were changed owners! Our dog was good too lol
