Frankie's escaped again! 🐢

I would like to start by thanking everyone for your support over recent years and for recommending Hopgarden to family and friends. It has meant a lot to me and the ladies. I would like to invite all past families on 19th July to drop by for nibbles and wine/juice between 2:30pm and 4:30pm. Please spread the word as we would love to see as many of our wonderful past families as possible! If it's dry parking will be available on the field, behind the nursery.🐸

Just a little reminder that our last day before the Easter break will be Thursday 4th April. The children that would normally attend a Friday session can come on Thursday at 9.00 am with lunch (if applicable). All families are then invited to join us at 1.15 pm for our Easter celebrations. Let's hope the Easter bunny remembers to visit! The nursery will close at 2.30.

After 31 year of childcare I have made the very difficult decision to close Hopgarden and retire on our last day of the summer term. I am very much looking forward to enjoying my garden. Welcome back to the spring term, we hope you all had a lovely Christmas and new year! Thank you all for our lovely presents. Our theme for this term is around the world, visiting different counties, trying new foods and learning about other cultures.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful parents and friends of Hopgarden Day Nursery for making our recent fundraiser a great success! We raised the grand total of £161.24!

Thanks to our lovely parents (and children) for making our charity week a great success! Good luck to everyone who entered our competitions, our hedgehog can't wait to find a new home! Next week is our Breast Cancer fundraiser at nursery! The children will be making lots of goodies to sell throughout the week so don't forget your pennies!😀 The ladies will be wearing pink and we'd love to see the children in pink too! 🌺🌸. Also our Hedgehog needs a new home and name! Can you help us?

Whatever the weather the children can always be found in the garden. Today we made the most of the windy weather experimenting with the ribbon sticks! 💨

We've been training the next World Cup winners at Hopgarden today!⚽️🏆 #comeonengland

Recently some of the children have been very excited about the World Cup! In celebration of England's football team's success we thought there was only one thing to do and make our own Hopgarden team! With homemade shirts the children were allowed to choose their own number. Good luck England #itscominghome ⚽️🏆

In order to support speech and language development, we incorporate various activities in our day to day curriculum. Here is an example, blowing bubbles helps to develop the muscles of the mouth and face to help to produce different sounds used for speech.
