**💡Making light work of this one 💡 **
Last week we were assisting Dem-master Demolition with the dismantle of 4 x 50m High Floodlight towers at Meadowbank Stadium in Edinburgh.
We supplied our Grove GMK6300L on 54.5te Counterweight working on a 74.7m boom as the main lifter along with our Liebherr LTM1200 on 26t Counterweight working on a 67.3m main boom utilising it’s full 22m Flyjib fixed with a 22.5 degree offset for carrying out man riding duties.
... Time restrictions were in force so this project had to be carried out as quickly & efficiently as possible which meant we had to move from position to position fully rigged to avoid waisted time de-Rigging the counterweight and folding away the fly jib.
Due to the location of this site and with a huge population of residents nearby - health & safety was priority, between our contract lift team & the site’s management we ensured all controls measures were in place with no sacrifices to safety.
All Craneage was supplied under CPA model conditions working on a Contract lift basis.
It was a pleasure working with Dem-master & Graham’s - it really does make the job go a lot smoother when the management are Easy to deal with!
