We cater for ages 4-94! ! ! Children and Adults. Beginners to advanced. Whether you just want to hack out or become a 4* rider we can help you in any sphere. Dressage – Cross Country – Show Jumping etc.

We have a school holiday programme and a are Pony Club Centre.

Children and adults with physical and learning difficulties also very welcome.

Horsepower has facilities to school and break in horses and ponies for riding and driving. We produce and compete horses to the highest level.

All our staff are fully qualified and we are fully insured.

Pony Club

We are Lichfield’s premier Pony Club Centre.

We have a growing group of very keen riders of all abilities in the Pony Club.

Pony Club is more than just riding a pony, we learn about the care and wellbeing of ponies, first aid etc.

The highlight of the year is the summer Pony Club camp, where the riders camp out with the schol ponies and enjoy a few nights out with friends and highly trained leaders. Last Summer’s event was brilliant, despite the weather!

We are part of the regional Pony Club, we run 4 club shows a year which compete against all other Pony Club centres around the country to compete for the Pony Club Championship

WE NOW HAVE A TACK SHOP called 'Horsepower Saddlery' open within the grounds of Horsepower Equestrian. With a wide range of selected stock from bridles rugs, jodhpurs, boots, to novelty gifts and cheeky treats for the ponies!

If you are looking for something particular for either you or your horse, we have a range of catelogues for you to browse through and we can order items in.

Our experienced staff can help advise you and answer questions, to ensure that you buy the most suitable items for you and your horse.
