Only came for a wee nosey and ended up being there 2 hrs taking some amazing photographs of the inside and outside art.

I had booked the afternoon lunch and tour for my mum and step dad and they visited on Friday 16th feb. Now, my mum is the fussiest woman ever and always finds something to complain about. So when the phone went Saturday morning I was ready.

But, knock me down with a feather, she loved it. The food was fresh and lovely (goujons, melt in the mouth). She got a serving of tablet to take home, and the girl added some extra in and gave it for no charge. She wasn't feeling too well and the lady at the desk gave them an open ended tour ticket, for when she felt better.

She loved it so much I am being taken for my birthday lunch at the end of the month ( not sure who the treat is really for, lol)

So from a very grateful daughter who finally bought a successful present, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Ps step dad is much easier to please but he was raving about it as well, and he would probably thank you as he didn't get his ears moaned off ���

We held our wedding here on the 29th july 2016 and it was amazing! The staff were brilliant and worked so hard to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted! Scott was brilliant and the poor guy ran round all day and night after us with a smile on his face!! I would recommend the house to anyone. You get exactly what you pay for. The food was amazing the venue was excellent and the staff were top notch! Overall 100%

We had our wedding here on 26th may 2017 and it was the most amazing day! From the very beginning of organising our wedding Rachel and Hannah were amazing. So helpful and friendly, always there to answer any questions you have. The team on the day, especially bob, were brilliant. We were made to feel so special! Everyone is so relaxed and everything went perfectly. Our guests were commenting on how amazing the staff and venue were. Thank you so much to everyone who made our day so special!

We had our wedding here and all I can say is that every part of the day went smoothly and the whole wedding was perfect. The entire venue is stunningly beautiful and unique. The staff were incredible throughout every aspect leading up to and on the wedding day. Every one of our guests were in love with everything the house had to offer as was my new husband and I. The food was incredible but my only problem with it was everyone got to try the vegetarian meal but me,that's the problem of having too many friends and family, I never got the chance but I will try it the next time I visit the house as it looked so good. We fell in love with the house the very first time we visited it and so will anyone else who visits. There is so much there to see so you don't just have to be there for a wedding,it is great to just walk around the house and grounds to see how much love is put into it.

We had our wedding at the House on December 9th and from our first viewing to collecting our things the day after the wedding, we couldn’t have hoped for a better or more helpful venue. Rachel and Hannah were fantastic at guiding us through the booking and planning stages and on the day itself Robert and Scott (and all the staff) were amazing and made sure everything ran like clockwork. The meal/canapes and evening buffet were all delicious (the macaroni pies are highly recommended!), the bars were well stocked and managed and the venue itself was beautiful. Having everything taken care of under one roof took a lot of stress out of the proceedings. We really did have a perfect day and can’t thank you enough!

We had an incredible wedding at the house for an art lover in September and almost a month along the road, my friends and family are still talking about it now. The whole experience from start to finish was handled impeccably by the wedding team. Rachel, Hannah and Robert (the zen master of calm) made our wedding a wonderful and truly memorable day. The food and setting were outstanding. If you are considering booking the house for an art lover for your wedding, stop thinking about it, just do it. The staff and venue are amazing. We got married here on Sat 4 Aug. From initial contact 2 years ago, to the last dance of the night, everything went so smoothly! Hannah was fantastic to deal with through all the planning, answering some of the most random questions in a very kind and patient manner! On the day itself, Robert and Scott kept everything ticking over perfectly. The place is stunning, the grounds are beautiful, and the Oval Room was perfect for a bit of quiet time. The food was just as we hoped it would be, and everyone was well looked after.



We really couldn't have picked a better venue!

Our wedding was held at the house on Saturday (27th of May) and it was an absolutely amazing day thanks in no small part to Hannah, Scott and the rest of the team. In the lead up to the wedding, Hannah was on hand to answer all my questions and really put my mind at ease about everything. On the day itself, Scott was an absolutely brilliant master of ceremonies and made sure the day flowed seamlessly. The canapés, wedding breakfast and evening buffet were superb too. I cannot express enough thanks to everyone at House for an Art Lover for making sure our day was perfect!

My third consecutive New Year celebration at House for an Art Lover. No better place to bring in the New Year. Lovely food and friendly staff and excellent entertainment provided by the house ceilidh band. Scottish dancing made easy! I'm already planning our return visit.

I just wanted to say the biggest thank you to HAL for making our wedding day so special on Saturday 4th February. Rachel was an absolute star in the run up to the wedding and gave me full confidence in every aspect that she was dealing with, nothing was a problem for her, she was amazing! And then on the day, Robert went above and beyond to make our day the best it could be! Everything was so smooth and seamless. My husband and I had thee best day of our lives and our guests had such a great day too...and that's all down to the guys at HAL. Not to mention the fact it is one of the most stunning venues in Glasgow, I couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking for wedding venues. Thank you so much HAL! ���

I had my wedding there yesterday (07/10/2017), it was amazing and made more special by the fact the staff, the service they provided plus the food made our day go smoothly, nothing was too much & they timed everything perfectly, I would like to say a special thank you to Robert, our master of ceremonies who went that extra mile, I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue for your special occasion as you couldn’t find a better one pxx

Had lunch at the cafe today for my sisters birthday. The food was lovely and the service was great. Would highly recommend.

Celebrated a special birthday with you and a group of around 15 girlfriends on Sunday 15th April. I would like to thank you for a wonderful afternoon. You kindly allocated us a separate room which allowed us to take our time and I was so pleased that my friends were able to relax and chat for the whole afternoon. Food was very, very good and service was excellent. I haven't visited often since we hosted our son's engagement party with you, but I wont leave it so long until we return.

Brilliant Christmas lunch here last week, in our very own private room! Excellent food, fabulous decoration of the room. Our 2nd year here, see attached photo...
