Howden Sound Recording Studio, Edinburgh

High Quality project size recording studio in Newtongrange, Midlothian.

Howden Sound is a small project studio at the edge of Newtongrange, just outside Edinburgh. The Studio is built around a PC / Protools 10 / MOTU 24io rig with 24 channels of inputs and outputs.
Microphones from SE, Shure, Sennheiser and Rode.
Monitoring by KRK and AKG.

Andrew Howden, an experienced recording engineer with a decade of experience will take you right through every step of your production with ease.
The Studio has a spacious control room with WiFi and a good listening position. The live room is large enough for a 4 piece band with plenty natural light and a great view over Midlothain and the Pentland valley.
The studio drum kit, valve guitar amps, Ashdown bass combo and flexible headphone monitoring are always readily available to use.

The studio is based in a house and has parking for around 2 - 3 vehicles, major bus links (Lothian; 3A, 33 and 29).
