Check out this video from today. 3rd day of the 'All out attack' programme. Really fast transitions, getting the kids to think quick from offensive to defensive transition and vice versa! Worked on multi-directional transitions and counter attack situations then moved onto close range finish in tight spaces. Kids were absolutely incredible and GKs were on fire. Hutchison Vale to celebrate our up and coming 80th year, we are now inviting the 2004s-2005s-2006s age groups for a FREE afternoon session from 13:00 - 15:00 for the rest of this week (Tuesday - Friday). We would like to invite these squads in for a 2 hour session, every day, in helping the boys prepare during their pre-season, working on their physical and technical preparation. The free sessions are open for all kids at any club. If interested get in touch to register. FREE every day sessions will also be offered to the rest of the squads as of next week for boys and girls more info soon ‚öĹ

Wee warm up ahead of this week's 'All out attack 2' programme with 60 seconds of action and plenty of goals! As the name goes, the programme will focus on attacking themes, with plenty of action infront of goals. Sessions delivered by UEFA B & UEFA Youth Elite A licensed coaches! Please do not forget:

The 'Old player skill award' prize went to Struan Woodford for the week that has passed. Struan who plays as a striker for Tynecastle U13s side and scored 23 goals last season as his team's top goalscorer came along at the 'Keep it on the deck' program , also joining in the afternoon 'technical session' in an attempt to make himself a better player, also working on position specific technical practices , working on his main strength which is exploiting space in behind the defense with his pace, making runs in behind and receiving the ball into the space to finish. Here is a clip of Sam, Ben and Ross from Hutchison Vale participating in one of Alex's small group technical sessions earlier this week. High intensity 2v1 game focusing on 'Defending in an underloaded' situation, working on defensive body shape in a highly technical and physical environment as per the boys pre-season. These technical sessions are running for the duration of next week as well for any players who may be interested in position specific technical practices!

The 'skill award' prize for the week that has passed went to Tommy, Hutchison Vale 'Junior academy' player! Tommy, at just 8 years of age, demonstrated some incredible skills throughout the week...Being the youngest of all the players, Tommy demonstrated great technical, physical and mental traits. Speedy and agile with and without the ball, with great use of his body and feet to protect and manipulate the ball, maintains close control of the ball and also very brave and creative! Tommy was often paired up with older boys by the coaches and did fantastically well. Here is a wee clip created for Tommy, the 'Skill award' winner!

Last day today of the 'Keep it on the deck' program. Well done to those in attendance and hopefully they enjoyed the week! Boys/girls in attendance participated in technical possession based practices delivered by Alex, Scott and David. The practices comprised:
‚öĹÔłŹ Individual possession, shielding and manipulating the ball ‚öĹÔłŹ Team based possession, 2v1s, 2v2+1s, 3v3+2s, building the game out from the back and playing through the zones ‚öĹÔłŹ Unopposed passing combinations... ‚öĹÔłŹ Final third/transitional scenarios

Next week's program, 'The All out Attack' program, will focus on finishing and final third themes in different scenarios, aiming at developing exciting and creative players in and around the box!
