WE ARE LOUD POETS!
Loud Poets was launched in 2014 with the aim of making poetry something that could be enjoyed by the masses. They are now a collective of poets, writers, musicians and artists who create monthly nights, Fringe shows, commissions, workshops and videos.
This is slam-style, make some noise, fist-thumping, pint-drinking, side-tickling, heart-wrenching poetry. This is poetry for the masses.

The first time I got invited to a gig, all I thought was 'this is not my thing'.
I was so wrong, this is totally my thing!
These guys are super talented and work extremely hard at their craft.
If you get the chance, I highly encourage you to go see for yourselves!

Sensible, divertido y profundo a la misma vez. Un excelente show actual para disfrutar y reflexionar de los detalles más humanos
Saw these guys in London in May and before I went I was very sceptical (I was almost dragged to the venue) and I was pleasantly surprised! This group moved me so much that I sobbed like a freakin' baby (embarrassingly so) but I also laughed a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the show. Would absolutely recommend seeing Loud Poets and I hope I get the chance again soon.
Saw their show in Edinburgh, one of the best I've seen at the fringe! Absolutely great!

Loud Poets events are my favourite in Edinburgh. They'll leave you laughing, cheering and crying; but mostly they'll leave you wanting to come back.
Just had an great time seeing these guys at the Edinburgh Fringe! Dragged a bunch of first timers with me and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. You've got yourselves some new fans tonight �
I thought their poetry was urgent and evocative and their rendition of it, aided by the use of music and video, powerful. It had me crying, laughing, cheering and applauding like a maniac. Thank you!
I discovered Loud Poets at the Edinburgh Fringe and was blown away. They combine performance poetry with music and film to make a spectacular show which is pulled together by the different elements. They make poetry fun, accessible and meaningful not to mention funny and moving. I couldn’t recommend them enough!
I am so glad I stumbled upon them at Fringe. I was laughing, maybe cried a tear or two, and just loved everything about the performances. The addition of music and video made them stand out from the other spoken word acts I've seen. Totally inventive and I hope we cross paths again.
Great poetry. Excellent music. Above average hugs
Easily one of the best evenings out I've had in Edinburgh. I've been twice, and both times the poets were amazingly talented and inspiring. I love that the poems are so varied - you can be laughing one minute and moved to tears the next. Great friendly atmosphere too. Highly recommend!
Depth, humour, energy, emotion and passion.
These guys are natural performers who throw themselves into what they do.
Their love of their art pours off the stage and into the audience.
Can't recommend a ticket to these guys enough.
Absolutely wonderful show! Bought all the books on sale as well � can't wait to read them
