Iain Marr Antiques

Iain and Avril Marr established their antique shop in 1975 in the highland village of Beauly where Iain was born. Their daughter Sarah is now a partner ensuring an independent family run business continues.

We are the only Highland member of the London & Provincial Antique Dealers Association and members of The Highland Antique Dealers Association, The Silver Society and were founder members of Sothebys.com. Over the years they have developed the business to its present standing having royalty, film stars and the nobilty among their frequent customers. The fishing, shooting and stalking fraternity make the shop a must when in the North, often making early morning or evening appointments outwith shop hours in order to browse in peace and not interfere with their sport. Clients enjoy freshly ground coffee and classical music in a relaxed atmosphere. Iain’s particular interest is antique silver, especially Scottish and he loves to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with the beginner and the serious collector alike.
