Terms and Conditions. . .

By paying a deposit you are accepting the terms and conditions detailed below.

Quotes. . .
All quotes are based on your design, size and flavours. Iced Gems Cakes will not price match, our prices are based on quality ingredients and a high standard of skilled work.

Deposit. . .
Your booking is not secure until a non refundable deposit is paid.
Amount due will be whichever is greater, £10 or 10%
PayPal, Cheque, Bank Transfer or Cash is accepted.

Payments. . .
Full payment is required before the cake can be released.
Iced Gems Cakes accepts cash, bank transfer, cheque deposited and cashed prior to collection or PayPal + PayPal fees of 3. 2% + 20p per transaction.

Delivery. . .
Delivery is available if my diary has availability. Delivery local to Iced Gems Cakes will be at no cost. Further will be charged a fee. . .
Please ask for a price or availability if delivery is required.

Transporting Your Cake. . .
When transporting your cake in a car it needs to be placed on a flat surface. I recommend a non slip mat under the cake box. If you need a non slip mat I can supply one, just ask. .
I recommend you place it in the footwell of the car or the boot.
DO NOT hold it on your lap or place on a car seat. These positions tilt the cake and risk damage.
I can not be held responsible for damage caused after the cake has left Iced Gems Cakes. But I will try to repair it with the time I have available if the cake is returned to Iced Gems Cakes. A charge may be applied.

Damages. . .
Please be aware that the cakes and decorations are very delicate. They can easily damage if not handled, stored or transported correctly.
If a repair is required after it has left the care of Iced Gems Cakes a fee may be charged.

Wedding Cakes. . .
Wedding cakes require a 10% non refundable deposit to secure the date. Full payment is required at least two weeks prior to the event. A payment plan can be arranged, just ask.
Delivery and set up of wedding cakes are included in your quote.
Cake tastings are available if booked in advance.

Storage. . .
Don't refrigerate your cake. It's best kept in a dry cool room in the cake box supplied with your cake. Best eaten within 7 days.

Allergens. . .
All cakes are supplied with a list of allergens used.
We can cater for gluten /dairy /egg /nut free etc. . . But we can not guarantee against trace of allergens. Our cakes are made on a premises where these products are used and supplied.

Non Edible. . .
On occasion Iced Gems Cakes will use non edible items on your cake. Dowling rods, posy picks, wired flowers etc. . .
We will make you aware of any non edible items that need to be removed prior to serving.

Cancellation. . .
If you cancel your booking we reserve the right to retain your deposit.
Any other payments will be returned minus any costs used on your cake.
