Ideal Schools

I cannot praise Ideal Schools enough! From the first moment I went on the website and Brian came on live chat to help guide me as to what was the best course for me, I was impressed by the fact that he really did seem to be doing that and not just pushing me to the most expensive course - and even pointed me towards the discount offer at the time.

The materials always arrive quickly and are really easy to follow, there are lots of step by step examples for complete beginners, and the support is terrific, often provided outside hours. They have a couple of student FB groups which also provide fantastic support and encouragement.

If you're thinking of becoming a certified book-keeper - do it through Ideal Schools, you won't regret it!

The best company to train with! Professional, friendly, and accessible tutors, excellent training material, practice tests and assignments. I have so far passed ICB levels 2 & 3 with very high marks (98 and 99%) and am continuing with Ideal on the career path course. Invaluable Facebook group for students to support each other with lots of tutor interaction for help with any questions and motivation boosts.

I studied the ICB career path with Ideal Schools, have set up on my own recently, & I've now joined them again to study further.
They are brilliant - the course material is excellent, the tutors are always on hand & helpful. It's a great way to study.

The support Ideal Schools provide is second to none, from your initial sign up through to exam completion nothing is too much for them and they are a huge support through your study. Would highly recommend them!

I found their prices to be better structured and I even managed to pick up a deal on the courses I wanted. Making a great saving compared to other training providers. My fear then was "would I be getting as much from the them as the more expensive providers?" The answer was more!
Reading on some ICB and bookkeeping forums, other students don't seem to get the same support and understanding, especially when preparing for exams. When I hear others failing at certain exam stages but Ideal schools students are excelling in these same exam areas! For me that tells the story.

They have been only a phone call or email away on tough topics or just days where I needed a little extra support and someone to talk things through with. With home learning, it can feel like a lonely experience and isolating. But not with Ideal schools ! Their Facebook groups provide support and connections with fellow students and those who have gone on to practise. This helps with celebrating exam success and also getting a boost to carry on when you are struggling. A great group of people and a wonderfully inclusive support network. Including search tasks and important industry info, these pages have it all!

Thanks to Brian and his brilliant team I look forward to a long and prosperous career in bookkeeping.

One of the worst educational experiences of my life! Plus a total waste of money. Do everyone a favour and enroll at your local college or Kaplan centre for in person training.

This company is unprofessional, unhelpful and rude. Their materials are shoddy, full of errors, omissions and typos and their support is even worse. More than one topic on exams has been omitted in their materials, and when this was raised it and information on these topics was requested this was received with outright hostility and abusive behaviour.

If you dare to raise a complaint about any of their failures, you will be told it is your fault, no one else has a problem and made to feel like you are stupid for not being able to answer topics they haven't covered in their materials. There are plenty of us who have had problems with this company, but given their record of deleting bad reviews and bullying students who speak out, many are afraid to stand up and warn others.

Save your money, go elsewhere.

Excellent School. Fantastic tutor support. Extremely quick to respond with answers to any questions. They completely over prepare you for the exams and your career. But it doesn't stop there, there is a brilliant on line forum for students past and present where you are able to get advice from those who have been practising for longer or in different areas of industry. Can't recommend highly enough.
