ABB Tacteo switches are now being installed in our Edinburgh renovation project. These stunning switches are the front end user interface controlling ABB switch and dimmer actuators to provide a fully integrated KNX Installation for lighting/heating and blinds. We will also be installing URC Total Control touch screens to interface with KNX, audio visual, CCTV and access control systems.

Here’s a cheap and simple method to enter into the world of the ‘smart home’ !! Integrated this Sonoff 4 channel switch into Alexa echo and app. Simple voice and remote control via app to switch heating on/off. No temperature feedback but not needed. 3 additional channels can be used for other functions !!! Not quite our usual fully functional smart home #family #sonoff

Sometimes you just have to work with the space you've got!! Our technical director Stephen Kerr made a fantastic job of squeezing a 65” Sony oled tv and two Kef R3 speakers into an alcove with millimetres to spare! This system being driven by a Denon AV receiver. With a kef r2c centre speaker and Rel sub. Our client was extremely happy with the end product. Once again magic created and no cables on show.

@ekinex having received some sample switch finishes I am very impressed with the quality. Also our clients designer was equally delighted with the quality and range available. I am looking forward to receiving the ROOM TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER – EK-E72-TP to bench test for our current project. Technical director Stephen Kerr has just finished installing the @urcinsta TKP 7600 touch screen in our demo room. Sitting next to @berker_by_hager Biq room controller it looks fantastic. We are really pleased with the interface between the @urcinsta and @hager_uk knx equipment, this is seamless and easy to integrate. Pretty in Pink. Last post in the 'Alexa' trilogy from IDES LTD! Ok we've seen blind and heating control via @ABB_UK voice control, now we have introduced lighting and music along with the above. With one voice command we change the existing lighting to pre-set levels and colours, you can see the RGB led strip change colour using Hager Group KNX to DMX controls, also the free standing Philips Hue lights colour change via KNX interface from @ABB_UK control touch and of course v...oice interface using @ABB_UK voice control. Via the KNX bus line we can also interface with dali lighting, 0-10V dimming, mains LED dimming, pretty much any form of lighting in the 'smart home' or indeed commercial projects.
