Japanese artist, Tatsuo Horiuchi, has been creating especially impressive landscapes for the last 13 years using the last Microsoft tool you would expect: Excel.
Excel has been Horiochi's first choice of design tool for the past 13 years because it is a cheaper option compared to a lot of popular design software, and it certainly seems to work! You can have a look at some more of his work here. http://www.spoon-tamago.com/…/tatsuo-ho riuchi-excel-spread…/
We do wonder though, what could he have achieved if he had dedicated all that time and effort into a design-oriented software like Adobe?

Last week, the Washington Post received a document detailing large-scale data monitoring by the NSA and FBI.
