We're back on Friday at the Flying Duck in the Kitchen Bar from 9pm-1am, playing the usual mix of big hitters and the occasional surprise. One of this week's occasional surprises is this, Martin Hannett and Steve Hopkins' Invisible Girls track Scandinavian Wastes, from the new compilation of their '76-'87 output. Hannett is probably more famous as legendary record producer (Joy Division, New Order etc) and pretty much Factory Records in-house production guru for their early years.

If you can't wait till then, Gavin is doing a Festive 50 night in Mono on Thursday from 8-11pm, playing lots of classic big hitters and a few surprise obscurities from Peel's Festive 50 archives, along with Mono' punters top 10 of the year. A fine way to deal with post late night shopping fiascos.
