We are committed to equal right of access to drug-free pain management and treatment, social enterprises /community support and have been active on this for over 20 years, meeting government officers to argue the case for pain sufferers, designing and implementing pilot wellbeing-related projects based on the latest evidence and much more.

All over the world people needlessly suffer from many kinds of pain. In Scotland alone the official statistics show that over 900, 000 people suffer from chronic pain - 12 million in Britain. That is about 1 in 5 people - some reports state 1 in 4 people. These figures mirror the situation in the rest of the world.

Yet, despite a number of government reports and recommendations published throughout a period of many years, very little has been done that has directly and positively affected people with chronic pain.

People in pain need action NOW.

Some people are able to pay for alternative, effective drug-free interventions of their choice but others cannot.

This is unjust because PAIN MANAGEMENT AND TREATMENT IS A HUMAN RIGHT and so is the RIGHT TO CHOOSE DRUG-FREE PAIN MANAGEMENT.
