Traditional personal care products use synthetic polymers such as polyacrylamide to provide structure and stability to their formulations. After use, these polymers get washed down our drains out and accumulate in our oceans. According to Nature Science 2020 (https://www. nature.com/articles /s41467-020-17932-9 #citeas) , around 11 million tonnes of the polymer are floating within 200m of the Atlantic Ocean alone. InVed's mission is to reduce the impact of these plastics and polymers on the environment with our kinder to skin and kinder to the environment products starting with moisturizers, hand gels, and lotions. We are uniquely placed to do this as we combine our patented technology (Granted International PatentWO2020254813A1), developed during my Ph. D. at the University of Edinburgh, with our knowledge of tried, tested, and trusted ancient Indian remedies, Ayurveda, to create the range of all-natural, ethical, therapeutic personal-care products which sustainable manufacturing techniques. Our products also enable targeted delivery of actives to the skin whilst providing exceptional sensory performance.
