Inveraray Castle

Beautiful place to visit both the castle itself, the grounds and the surrounding countryside. Well worth a visit!

Able to have a look around by walk without being charged. £5 for the garden which is slightly overpriced when talking into account the size of it. Well maintained though. Worth the walk from town.

A very nice place to visit and the staff was amazingly knowledgeable. The gardens were not remarkable and the deep gravel paths are hard to walk on, but the house is grand.

Ask about the piano.

Loved it! Beautiful! Its great that its still lived in, you can tell its well taken care of. The grounds and gardens are stunning too. Even in the dreary rain 😊

Stunning example of a Scottish castle. Plenty of history and historic military weapons can be seen within. The castle is within easy walking of Inveraray town centre, and has a restaurant on site. Well worth a visit

Impressive 18th century house (not a castle really) with well appointed rooms and a great series of portraits. I was very impressed by the Rob Roy memorabilia. However the narrative conveyed of the history of the family and of the clan was a bit disjointed and the less creditable bits glossed over.

Gorgeous view in a historic building. Loved also the tea house at the base of the castle... Tasty scones and clotted cream

Lovely castle, beautifully decorated rooms. Shame there aren't more rooms open upstairs but maybe i am greedy!

Magnificent and well preserved. Loads of stuff to see inside and beautiful park and surrounds.
