Inverawe Fisheries, Smokery Tearoom & Shop Description
Inverawe has something for everyone, be it fishing, finding out how salmon is smoked, exploring the many trails and tracks, feeding the fish, trying our new play area, browsing through the shop, or enjoying our delicious food in the Smokery Café.
We also have three delightful self-catering cottages on the estate. Cosy and comfortable, with wood burning stoves, they each make a wonderful base from which to enjoy Inverawe and explore the surrounding areas.
Set at the foot of Ben Cruachan, surrounded by beech and oak woods with spectacular views over the River Awe into Glen Lonan, it is the perfect location to unwind in West Scotland.
The three trout lochs and salmon river are each within easy walking distance of the shop and give a great day’s fly fishing for all levels. For beginners, our knowledgeable instructors will get you hooked on a life-time hobby.
The smokery exhibition is for all ages and gives the most informative insight into how the salmon is smoked. With moving models, miniatures, video and life size smokebox, it is a real holiday highlight.
The Smokery Cafe and Shop is a wonderful venue to relax and enjoy all our smoked foods and home baking. With a great selection of quirky kitchen items, local china, books, and all our smoked fish and sauces, it is easy to take something home for all to enjoy.
