Inverness Masjid Association founded in 2005 to raise money to establish a mosque in Inverness. It has also maintained Inverness Masjid at Ardross street since 2006. Through constant dun raising we have purchased the Portland Club for the sum of £178, 668 of which £95, 000 were generously given by the Shah Jalal Masjid fund & the remaining amount of £75, 000 came from Inverness Masjid. We are proud that at least 97% of this money has been raised within the local community.

Our aim is to turn into a carbon neutral energy efficient masjid & community center. The extensive refurbishment work began in March 2014 & we hope to be open in the Blessed month of Ramadhan insh'allah.
