Another successful big weekend of bowling at the winton, weather on Sunday curtailed the finishing of the tournament The quarter finals and subsequent rounds will now take place on Sunday 10th sept starting at two pm Many thanks go to the main sponsor mr andy sim for his invaluable support for this competition Also thanks to the members who gave up their time to assist with the running of the triples And finally to all the teams who turned up over the two days to support the competition especially those who played in dreadful conditions yesterday.

Well done to the Winton top ten team last night who eased into the semi final of the tournament with a good victory over Ardeer bowling club. Played in rain all evening credit must go to all players who coped with the conditions admirably Next up for the winton in the semi final is a home draw against Largs Halkshill on Wednesday 2nd August
