A little while in the making but the end is near.
In a new venture for us we will be selling our home bred 100% pure Aberdeen Angus beef from our own butchery unit. To add to this we’ve also started a native breed pig herd and as a result will be able to offer our own traditional, slowly matured pork and bacon.
... We will also be providing a chilled/frozen delivery service.
As time goes on we also foresee a private butchery and packaging service being available on a limited basis.

Started silage yesterday

ET bull calf. Isauld Black Lily L114 X Young Dale Touchdown. Have four of these on the ground in the last couple of days. Very uniformed calves.

Eagle not impressed with the sleeping arrangements I don’t think.

Week old bull calf out of a Sondergard Fred daughter. Fred’s daughters establishing themselves in the herd very quickly. Plenty milk, good legs, feet and udders with short gestation they seem to have inherited from their sire.

This SAV Brave daughter's calving took half an hour. From nothing showing to this in 30 minutes. Bull calf sired by Sondergard Fred. Born 6 days early as are the majority of his calves. Very easy calving and grow in to real meat machines.

Findhorn Petite H162. Dam of two stock bulls here Panzer and Playboy. Due to an injury now living life as one of our donor cows.

Isauld Playboy, fleshing up nicely again. Ran with 25 of our second calver’s last year at 13 months old. First calves due in the next few weeks. Sondergard Fred son and maternal brother to Isauld Panzer.
