We are open again today! The Cafe, Shop and Tutored Tastings are all open and available today. Full tours will not be on offer for another week or so as our Distillery is still getting back up and running after the refit of our new Stills. Our virtual tours are still available. We look forward to welcoming you.

User

The team have been working hard to open our Visitor Centre next week and the refurbishment work in the Centre is nearly complete. We will be open on Tuesday 7th February, only one day later than planned, from 10am - 4pm and we hope you will like our new look in the downstairs entrance!

User

We are now open for our winter timetable. We are still open 7 days a week, open at 10am, close at 4pm. Come and visit us this winter and enjoy some real festive spirit with us.

User

We're getting right into the spirit of Halloween today in CASKS Cafe. Gareth and the team have been carving pumpkins and we reckon they deserve 10 out of 10. Hope wherever you are today, you're having a good one.

User

Our Distillery refit is underway. Both of our stills are being retired after 21 years of solid service. First to be removed is our old spirit still pictured here. You may be able to see here that all the glass has been removed from the large window at the side of the Distillery building to bring her out. The plan is to have this still on the grass area beside the car park. Next to go will be the wash still and then four brand new stills will be installed. Busy times for James and the Stillmen.

User

Busy weekend ahead on Arran! Make you include us on your island itinerary :-)

User

We visited there as part of our mini honeymoon around The west coast and Highlands of Scotland in October time last year. This distillery is fantastic in the stunning Lochranza. I did the tasting tour, and Campbell was brilliant. We could listen to his whisky facts all day. I ended up buying the 18 year old Arran, I will also be buying the Machrie Moor. That was a great whisky too. We will definately be back again. Can't believe this page hasn't got more likes!!. Orders to be put through soon

User

We visited the cafe and did the tour and both were great. Our tour guide Douglas was brilliant, extremely engaging and entertaining. We had the distillers platter of wonderful local produce and the Arran gold cake, both were excellent and the whiskey is great too. Highly recommended. Special mention for Peter at the front of house who was extremely helpful and friendly.

User

We popped into the shop and cafe. Lovely friendly staff and it was so clean The food was spot on too.

User

We loved the tour through the excellent distillery. The people there are oustanding: Very friendly and helpful. We loved the Malt as well as the Arran Gold. In the End we enjoyed having a break in the Cafe.

User

We had a great we afternoon with Campbell and the Distillery team. Lunch was great as well.

Loads of samples to try and we even bought a bottle too. 18 year old Arran.

User

We had a great tour & tutored tasting & learned plenty about the whisky making process, our advice allow plenty of time, enjoy the cafe, take the tours and allow time to browse the really well stocked shop. The staff were, without exception, helpful, knowledgable & friendly.

User

One of the best distillery tours so far on our vist to Scotland.

User

Lovely, friendly staff..we actually we're there the Saturday and the Sunday.. well worth a visit.

User

Lovely people. Lovely place. Thanks to Campbell and Douglas for your knowledge and happiness. Also thanks for your recommendations. What a WONDERFUL PLACE! Even when telephoning to reserve a tour Peter was welcoming and offered advice on the trip. Thank you Arran. Hopefully will return with my dad soon.

User

It was lovely to visit again and see the changes that have been taking place. Loving the new look to the shop and downstairs in general. Wonderful welcome as always

User

If you are anywhere near and have time and not driving then you must have a tour and tasting session!

User

Had a fantastic short break to the beautiful island of Arran - stayed at Auchenrannie Resort - which I highly recommend.

We visited the Distillery - which was very picturesque the tour was informative, staff knowledgeable, friendly and helpful - the Whisky tasting -especially the Arran Gold is also highly recommended 🙂

User

Had a distillery tour with Campbell who really knew (and loved) his stuff! The place is really well kept and the cafe is fab. Merchandise in the shop is wonderful, and not just the whisky. Make sure you keep space in your car!

User

Great tour with Richard today. Warm, knowledgeable, engaging - we enjoyed ourselves immensely and were not just being polite when we said we will be back again next year!

User

Excellent tour. Friendly and helpful staff. Billy was our guide and he was brilliant. Arran Gold is delish - Baileys is oot the windae. Superb cafe. Shop has everything you could possibly want. There's a drivers dram in small container if you're the designated driver - which my other half will enjoy later as I sampled on the premises. Happy with our purchases

User

Brilliant distillery tour, with a fantastic tour guide Pam. The tasting to great too. Arran has a malt whisky for every palate!

User

Beautiful setting within the mountains of Lochranza. Distillery tour was excellent and enjoyed by the whole family, including our teenagers. Very fair that only adults pay for the tour, which makes it an affordable place to visit. Hubby enjoyed the whisky samples and I got to bring my sample home as I was driving! (they advise against the driver enjoying their sample during the tour due to the very high alcohol content and the strict drink/driving laws in scotland!

John was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. Cafe lovely too, with stunning views of the mountains. Shop well stocked with gifts, and toilets beautifully clean. A great morning spent here, well worth a visit!

User

An excellent tour taken by Jim who was very informative and happy to answer any questions. Unusual for a distillery with everything under the one roof. Photography welcome as long as not using a flash. You get a tasting of the 14 year old at the start the their liquor at the end. Cafe was also good. Numbers on the tours are limited so booking is probably worthwhile. We hadn't booked but the tour was full by the start. The gift shop has the full range of whisky plus other local products.

User

A must for any visitor to Arran. The hospitality from Peter was first class.I am a coach driver who arrived on spec with a party of 20(should have been a pre book) but Peter welcomed the party and let them sample a 'wee dram' before they spent time and money in the shop!!. Brilliant considering we arrived unannounced. Big thankyou Arran Distillery from a very happy coach party. 👍
