Isle Of Arran Heritage Museum

Was told we weren't allowed in the heritage part because we didn't have a red sticker! The old spinster type didn't inform us how to get the all important red sticker, just told us to leave, so that was it for us, guess we'll just go then.
Good coffee. Stale cake.

Lots of interesting information about geology, archaeology, social history, etc. Great café too!

Nice morning out for the kids. Some great info on the islands geology as well as the history of the islands settlers.

If you want to know about Arran, dont go anywhere else. Their heritage/ancestry room is amazing!

Never mind Brodick Castle...

THIS is a genuinely interesting and brilliant place to visit whether you are old or young, interested in history, geology and so much more!

Great cafe and shop and thankfully for me, a wonderful genealogy resource in the forms of Margaret, Mhairi and Jean. Special mention to John too who, with the ladies, helped me learn more than I could have hoped for.

Very interesting local bits and pieces from the past

I loved the Geology Museum, particularly with Mike Daniels (now with the Lochranza Outdoor Centre). The food on offer was simple but very adequate.
