J & S Montgomery Description
A family run business, J & S Montgomery Ltd started in 1976 repairing tractors and machinery for local farmers and buying used tractors to restore for resale.
J & S Montgomery Ltd obtained the John Deere franchise in 1980, which opened up a whole new avenue of possibilities for the company to move swiftly forward.
Our sales team of seven is led by James Hood, who joined the company in February 1982. The team cover Ayrshire, Renfrewshire, Lanarkshire, West Stirling and parts of Argyll, J & S Montgomery Ltd have accumulated an outstanding record of success within the agricultural industry.
February 2006 saw J & S Montgomery Ltd expand their area into South Ayrshire and Wigtownshire.
Since expanding our business into this area we have opened a new depot in Stranraer, formerly AW Blake premises, in order to provide a full-parts and back up service to new and existing John Deere customers.
Our dedication and committment to our customers has seen us become one of the leading organisations within the agricultural industry in Scotland.
We sell parts from John Deere, Honda, Kverneland, Taarup, Accord, Logic, Marston, Opico, Parmiter, Ritchie, Twose and many more franchises. We also sell parts from Parts Country which are stocked to fit all other major tractor manufacturers.
Our office staff provide an invaluable support service to each individual within the company.
With excellent back room staff and workshop personnel supporting 13 engineers, and ten service vans, J & S Montgomery Ltd ensure all outside repairs receive the highest quality of service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver. You will be fully trained to service and repair ATV's, all lawn and turf equipment and various other small machines. A full training programme will be assigned on induction which will involve attending regular training blocks over a period of 4 years.
