Day 7 of jacobite boxers in action. Today is the turn of 15 yr old Matthew michie. Matty has been at the club for 2.5 years now,and is a very skillful southpaw indeed . Matty is slight framed for his age,and unfortunately hard to match up. When in the mood, matty is a great mover,and packs a brilliant overhand left,despite his size. Matty has had 2 contests, and has won one.Here matty can be seen in a cracker of a skills bout, at our hone show in Nairn, and is one if our boxers who would box anyone!!Enjoy. Jacobite forever!!

Day 6 of jacobite boxers in action!! Today we have our mover and a groover our very own Shaun "o groats"young. Shaun is a very skillful and slick boxer who has been at the club now for just over 2 years!! In that time shaun has won gold at last years novice championships and also the district championships.He has a 3 wins from 6 ratio, and another jacobite boxer tipped for the top !! Here he is winning at our last home show,normally winning with style and flair, but had to win ugly here !! Enjoy,jacobite forever!!

Day 5 of our boxers in competition!! Today its Dazzling darren Cameron!! Darren has only been with jacobite for the last 9 months,and is a regular at our club.In that short space of time Darren has had 5 bouts winning an amazing 4!! Darren is also this season's silver medallist novice at lighweight,all done in only 9 months !! Amazing !! Here darren is showcasing all he has learnt at jacobite, with a comfortable win at our home show last October! Another boxer from jacobite, with big things ahead !!

Day 4 of jacobite boxers in action!! Today it's our very own bullet 11 year old southpaw gavin patience!! Gavin has been at the club since he just turned 9,and has been a very keen regular ever since!! Gavin boasts a 4 wins from 7 bouts ratio,and is definitely one who could go to the very top. Here gavin is boxing and winning on the elgin show last month !! Enjoy!! Jacobite forever!!

Day 3 of our boxer videos !! Next up our own tam tamboa Curley!! Tam has been with us now since we opened our doors 3 years ago,and is jacobite boxing clubs main eventer !! Day 2 of jacobite boxing club boxer posts !! Today is our very own jacobite queen Jemma Cameron!! This bout was an absolute slug fest and could of easily topped any bill in the country. Whst makes it even more special, was the fact that this was only 6 weeks after jemma giving birth to her son james !! Extraordinary!! Jemma has the best record in the club with 7 wins from 8 and 2 x 1st round stoppages!! Enjoy !! Jacobite forever!!

Seen as we are in lockdown,we will post up our boxers competing on a daily post .first up is mad matty rae !! I've never been do happy with one of my boxers winning !! This was Matt's 4th bout and unfortunately lost his first 3 !! Matty went on to win his next bout with another stoppage win,and is now Scottish novice champion boasting a 3 wins from 6 record!! Another boxer we have at jacobite going places in the future!! Enjoy !! Jacobite forever!

JOINT STATEMENT BY JACOBITE BOXING CLUB AND FORTE FITNESS
As you are all aware in light of the enforced closure of all clubs and gyms during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to temporarily close our doors until it is deemed safe to reopen by the Government.
Many of you have contacted us with regards to payment of April’s monthly subscriptions which are due for payment on 1st April.
... After much discussion, Fiona and I have decided that in light of the closure of our training facilities all monthly subscriptions for both Jacobite Boxing Club and Forte Fitness will be suspended during the enforced closure.
Fiona and I would like to thank those parents and members of the boxing club and clients of Forte Fitness that have contacted us offering to continue to pay your monthly subscriptions. However, whilst this is very much appreciated, and we obviously cant thank you all enough, neither of our clubs wish to do this. At the end of the day we are not alone in being reduced to zero income at this time. The current situation is affecting everybody in some shape or form, with many seeing a reduction in earnings, some being temporarily paid off and unable to work altogether with many small businesses being forced to close their doors. We are extremely grateful for everyone’s support during these testing times and hope to reopen and be back to normal as soon as possible.
Meantime look after yourselves.

JACOBITE BOXING CLUB UPDATE .... NOW CLOSED First of all I would like to thank every single one of our boxers (registered or unregistered) and their parents, for the amazing support and understanding in this current situation.You are a part of our brilliant family boxing club. Each and everyone of you have said that you are all going to be carrying on paying the monthly fees ,even if we have to close, and that is just testament in how you feel about our boxing clu...b. I could not wish for any better people associated with jacobite, and I am overwhelmed by your generosity and willingness to keep our club in the community safe in the future !! We are so lucky to have all of our boxers and their families backing our club and safeguarding our future !!
We also have the backing of all 12 of our cherished sponsors ,and they are backing our close knit family club to the maximum,and will ensure our club remains functional, now, and after this pandemic is over !!In our eyes we have the best boxing club,the best members,the best sponsors and the best families right behind us ,jacobite will continue to grow and thrive with the amazing people we have backing our brilliant boxing club!!
It's looking more than likely that we will be closing the doors ,sooner rather than later,and we wish everyone and their families connected to jacobite, to stay safe and to look out for one another !! We were thinking of starting one to two proper coaching at the club,and we have draughted up time slots that would cater for you all,just pick a time slot and we should have all of our members getting at least one session a week .If this does indeed goes ahead,we will not be charging any of our boxers extra money for the one on two sessions, that is absolutely ludicrous, and we will not be trying to make extra money from anyone or their families in these testing times, but will be included in normal monthly subs !! It does look inevitable that we will be in lockdown, so these small 2 way sessions were a way of keeping you involved and still learning!! I myself (Bobby) do have an underlying condition, and that is almost a certainty, that I will have to self isolate for 12 weeks !! If all of you can book one time slot in the week,just incase we can continue, but it's looking very unlikely indeed ,for everyone's health and mine included!! Again ,I cant thank you all enough for the backing and support you continually give,jacobite will probably close temporarily, but will open again stronger and better than ever,and that is down to you all!! Jacobite boxing club are on par with forte fitness ,and everything applies to the same standards!!

We would like to thank everyone for their continued work to abide by our guidelines!! As you all seen tonight, we deep cleaned ladies and mens toilets,fiona was hard at it today, and she bleached and cleaned all the flooring mats in both areas, as well as toilets, hall floors, ring canvas,door handles,gym equipment etc etc..All boxers sanitized hands before entering and also leaving the gym. I dont think there is anything more we can do,as we are not wearing and sharing gloves or headgear!! We hardly ever get you all just punching bags anyways, and all old and new drills on the floor are equally important!! We know that as a club we are trusted to make things as safe as can be,and the large numbers present tonight proved that!! So thanks in believing in jacobite boxing club!!

Boxing club guideline. PARENT INFORMATION
Jacobite boxing club have rigorously followed all governing body guidelines,as well as our own club stipulations!! We have left no stone unturned for the safety and well being of our boxers !! We Are a boxing Scotland affiliated club with gold affiliation!! We will strive to continue to promote health awareness in our club !!

*club update * After much discussion and deliberation, we have made the decision to carry on with our training schedule as normal for the time being.All necessary points of questions have been answered,and we believe we have fulfilled all duties and obligations that have arisen the last few weeks. All boxing gloves and headguards have been cleaned and anti- bacced! Our mens and ladies toilets have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached. We do not have any old carpeting areas ...in our club,which are very hard to keep germ free,but have brand new foam plastic matting throughout, which will be anti -bacced and mopped down properly. All our brand new equipment have been wiped and steralised !! There will be hand sanitizer stations in various places in the boxing club and forte fitness areas !! We have spray sterilisers for every boxer to sanitize their own gear also !! We have brand new equipment and flooring through out our club,and look to keep everything as sterile and clean as possible. The member needs to take responsibility for their own equipment, and materials will be on hand for them to use !! We hope this clarifies any queries or indeed what we are doing as a club for the wellbeing and prevention methods for our boxers !! Together we will be safe !! That's everything clean and anti bacterialed!! Tried to get hand sanitizer, been everywhere!! Will hopefully get some soon, and it will be placed at the front doors ,where all members will use before and after sessions!! Jacobite boxing club!!

*Club statement*
It has been brought to our clubs attention through various organisations, that all equipment and cloth materials will need to be sanitized!! We will close this evening (friday) to sanitize all headguards and boxing gloves and any machinery that is also likely to be shared!! This is only a preventative measure ,and there is absolutely nothing to be worried about. We just want to make sure we follow guidelines and we as a club are actively doing something proactive !! All gloves and headgear will be sanitized this evening and cannot be used for 4 hours!! We will be open as usual on Saturday morning,and hope that this is not an inconvenience for anyone !!
