I went the first time and did enjoy the experience and was pleased enough with the trainee, second time I went in was not so enjoyable, yes I went for the free trainee appointment, I didn’t even know what she’d done to my hair and she had to wait for the main stylist for so long she had to rush the end job and the hair cut was terrible

James Dun's House is my favourite Salon in Aberdeen. Always a warm welcome and always go above and beyond to be as hospitable as possible. Can honestly say I am always very happy with the treatment I receive. I highly recommend the spa pedicure, it is so relaxing! I have had my hair done by a few of the girls there and it was lovely every time but I have to rave about Liam, he has done my hair the last 3 times I've visited, his colouring skills are amazing!

We visited James Duns house on Friday as a treat and booked myself and husband in for treatments and haircuts. It was such a lovely experience, from the minute we arrived we were treated so professionally. My husband used the barber for his hair and beard trim which looks great. I would totally recommend and we will hopefully be back next time we are in Aberdeen.

Fantastic colour by Neil but I wish that he'd been able to cut my hair like last time. A trim is not 3 inches being taken off my hair!! I had no split ends and despite saying my curly hair needed long layers that was ignored too. Thankfully my hair will grow back but I won't be coming back.

Rushed service, awful dye job and overpriced. Salon owner was rude when I asked for refund to cover the cost of getting my colour fixed, saying it was my fault for booking a trainee stylist and having 6 months of regrowth. They should not be charging £130.00 for a trainee stylist to bleach and tone hair.
