The business started in 1968 at Berryhill, which began with buying and selling second-hand, agricultural machinery.

In 1986, an expansion was made into the plant and agricultural machinery hire market which have grown from strength to strength.

James Wilson & Co has experience in the export of any type of machinery or plant to various countries and maintains all of its own hire vehicles and machinery with a small workshop and a dedicated workforce.

The main manufacturers of tractors bought and sold to retail and trade customers are; Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Claas, John Deere and Case. Machinery can also be sourced if specifically asked.

Deliveries and uplifts of all machinery can be organised anywhere in mainland UK and shipping is available to any port.
