Jammin' At The Voodoo Description
Monthly Live Jam Session at The Voodoo Rooms with some of Scotland's leading musicians playing lounge grooves from many genres. Usually a Wednesday, mid-month.
Catch Blues, Soul, Funk, Ska, Rock and Reggae, Jazz & Country. There's decent valve amps, a tight sound system & tech.
Musicians play by invitation to set a good standard. Recent guests have included legendary guitarist, James Burton, Jerry Donahue, Gregg Wright, Neville Marten, Jimmy Moon & The Moonshiners, John Bruce, Adam Clarkson of Zoot Money.
Watch this site & announcement each month for dates. The sessions are arranged by Rod Kennard who plays bass with The River Devils & Blues in Trouble and Ash Gupta, Guitarist & leader of KoolVibration, Scotland's top Roots Reggae ensemble featuring Trav "Hedkandi" Panesar on sax.
Entrance Free except for special guest nights.
