i've been to this place 4 or 5 times best ice creams in Scotland! I can assure that now. They have a wide range of flavours, and Scottish as well like salted-caramel or scottish-tablet, really nice! not to be missed!!

The best ice-cream I ever had. Brilliant stuff. Always crowded and very famous

Where to start...
This place is literally mouthwatering when you go and have to wait in the queue to be served. There is clearly a reason people are happy to wait out on the street in the rain (Scottish Summer) to get an ice cream. Not the cheapest place in the town but well worth it.
Sit in opportunities but you may struggle to get a seat particularly during warm weather.

More ice cream and sorbet flavours than I have ever seen. Amazing feast for the eyes...and tummy. Delicious. You even get a choice of several cone types. Can't wait to go again. I hear there's usually a long queue but that isn't surprising given the huge choice and excellent quality...and very helpful staff.

Walking down the street we saw about 20 people queing to get into the shop so we had a look as to what was going on. Didn't have anything that day but curiosity got the better of us so we went back the next day when there were less people about. They have over 50 flavours to choose from. Seating area inside and outside. The ice cream was fantastic and not that expensive compared to some ice creams I have regrettably bought in the past from other vendors.

Nice selection of flavours and sandwiches, hot drinks etc also available in the cafe side. However, despite being probably the best parlour in town, I genuinely have no idea why this place is so popular - queues out of the door even in overcast weather - it's just ice cream?! And not the best I've had... I was actually a little disappointed in the taste! Potentially a gad overhyped, and hilariously expensive (tubs at £10!), but a worthwhile stop whilst you're in St A just to say you've been there and had the famous scoops.

Excellent ice cream, especially the banana. Great service, very kind and considerate. Would definitely recommend for friends and family.

Choice of a dozen or so flavours of ice cream, as well as yogurts, etc. Bottled, canned soft drinks, water, juices.
Very good flavour (ice cream) but moderately prices. Limited seating outside only. Connected to a light sandwich cafe, but indoor seating only for those ordering meals.

I've been eating ice cream from here all year round my whole life and I still love it. Great family business with a huge variety of flavours and the food in the cafe is excellent if you fancy something other than ice cream or sorbet. You might find a massive queue out the door (especially in the summer) but it's well worth it!

User

Undoubtedly the best ice cream I've had without visiting mainland Europe first!
The vanilla is made fresh regularly, with a helpful sign indicating the exact time. The other flavours are also amazing - I personally recommend the hazelnut.

Definitely worth a visit.

User

Amazing, enormous and ever changing choice of flavours. The ice cream cakes are fantastic. Always busy tho so be prepared to wait a few minutes.

OK so I didn't go in for the ice cream but the lunch menu. I did break the rule of a lifetime 'never have the special'. I went for the chicken in pita bread which I can only describe as an insult to a paying customer. The bread was supposed to have been cooked on the premises and maybe it was but to quote Aragorn "Not on this day". I actually couldn't cut it with a knife and fork. I have been a baker for twenty five years and would be ashamed to serve this to anyone. The filling which I assumed would have been served hot was, in fact, stone cold. I reported this to the staff and was merely shrugged off. I certainly would not recommend this place to anyone.

It's very crowded if you're lucky you'll stand in line for 10 minutes but it's worth it. We got samples of freshly made vanilla gelatto. An impressive variety of ice cream flavours

User

Good ice cream, lots of options, and great staff. Worth the price and the wait? Maybe.
