User

The blood sausage and haggis were excellent, the eggs cooked just right and the beans and mac and cheese as good as any found in the southern USA which is hard to beat. The beer was a good selection and well poured and all of it reasonably priced. A great place for the morning after brunch!

User

Just arrived in Edinburgh went hunting for somewhere to have dinner found this pub grest atmosphere staff great and the best fish and chips I've had for a while great choice of beers too!

User

If you are looking for a proper pub with yummy food and a great selection of beer this is the place! Not a tourist spot, filled with locals. We have been back this evening because we were so happy the first night! :) Great burgers, nachos, and the normal pub fare and did I mention really good beer!

User

An excellent place with friendly staff. I have coeliac disease so have to eat gluten free food. When I eat here the staff are knowledgeable and enable me to have a choice of gluten free food.

User

We popped into Jeremiah's Taproom to see our an art exhibition which was being shown here and decided to have some food and what a good idea this turned out to be as it was the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. Will definitely be back.

Lovely

place to relax and enjoy a lovely meal.

Went in specifically to have some Tempest beer...barmaid didn't know whether they had any or not, then pointed at a remote fridge and said there might be some in there...got four bottles and gave her exact money...off she went to put money in till and then served someone else leaving us with 4 unopened bottles sitting on the bar....as it was busy it took me while to attract her attention to get them opened....attention to detail was lacking from not knowing the beers in stock to not finishing off the sale properly....dissapointing

This is really a review about the aggressively rude person who shot out of Jeremiah’s Taproom to complain that I was depositing food in the wrong waste bin. Although there was no notice on the old and dirty bin, we assumed that it was for public use and avoided the clean bins marked with Jolly’s sticker. it was a simple error and we could have been politely told this. Instead we were exposed to shouting, rude remarks about ‘ you people’with no effort to even listen to our explanation or apology. He even went back inside, watched us and then came out shouting again although we had already removed our rubbish from the bin. I used to enjoy Jeremiah’s but that was enough to put me off, and my friend who was visiting.

User

Stood at the bar to get served, ignorant barman, when I said "when you get a minute please?" He said "yes I can see you" then proceeded to head off round the other side of the bar, came back round and totally ignores me, your in the wrong job bud, I won't be back
