I graduated in 1987 as a Physiotherapist from Bodens Medical School in northern Sweden. So have nearly 30 years’ experience. Following graduation my first job was in a medical centre in a small town in mid Sweden. I built up the service from scratch to a very busy outpatient department, which eventually had 4 staff employed.
I moved to England in 1990 and have worked in various settings from the NHS, Private hospitals, Navy hospitals as well as private clinics and in Saudi Arabia.
In 1987 I did my first acupuncture course and have since never looked back. I have done numerous hours of training and in 2000, after 2 years studying; I finished my post graduate diploma in Acupuncture.
With these skills I have helped to relieve pain and symptoms for a vast number of patients.
I have also trained in Osteopathic techniques and other manual skills, which are often combined with acupuncture.
I have also trained in ergonomics because many people present with problems related to prolonged use of computers (and computer games), and am able to give advice regarding correct set ups and sitting positions.
