One of the best bars around. Especialy in the summer

My friend and i went here for a couple of pink gins and the staff were so friendly we also had lunch i had Ceasor Salad it was beautiful and my friend had a pasta dish that was lovely aswell would recommend it to everyone but you need to get early for lunch or you will not get a seat as the sun was shinning great and it got busy quickly.

Loved it!! Everyone was so friendly. Carolyn the manager gave me 2011 Hogmanay Poster featuring your very own George Donaldson... I will certainly revisit when next in Scotland...

Loved Jinty McGintys. Great atmosphere and can't wait to go back.

Had a fantastic night tonight with the girls, we were actually on our way to vodka wodka when we heard some music and decided to follow it, best decision ever! Thank you.

Great setting in Ashton lane, the Guinness here is the best I've had anywhere. Recommended.

Brilliant bar. Reserved seating for myself and family and couldn't be more helpful. The Nordie Tayto's were a nice touch!!!

Patio is sweet. Bar service is slow when they get busy but in their defense the bar is tiny.

Great location great atmosphere the staff are amazing and on the ball .

Was just ok to be honest. Gets a bit too busy and the quality of the drinks is just so so.

After my visit last weekend with my husband, we won't be back due to lack of customer service when my husband choked on his 1st forkful of food. I was trying to help dislodge a piece of pie he was choking on, ran to bar to get more tissue as he was being bit sick trying to get this dislodged from throat while getting bit embarrassed because other customers coming in, asked for more tissue as he was still choking, no help at all was offered, my hubby went to toilet so as not to be in view of people & while away staff member asked if everything ok with meals as they had hardly been touched, told him reason why thinkin he cud've went to check on hubby in gents but no. When hubby came back out after bout 8 mins, different staff member over to table askin if food ok, repeated what had happened & that now the food was cold & inedible, not even offered to make fresh hot food or refund on meals. We luv goin to Ashton Lane with it's vibrant pubs/restaurants but this occasion last week has put us off Jinty McGintys again which is a shame as always had good times in other branches of Jintys.

Very disappointed! Sitting outside just now. Waited about 1 hr for 2 mac n cheese and 2 fish and chips. My diabetic mum was nearly ill because we waited so long. People in after us received their food before us and tbh food is mediocre to say the least, only just warm :/ disappointing end to a nice family day.

The door man refused myself and the five girls I was with for no reason. Very unprofessional for no reason.

No care of duty, staff very un-helpful and rude. Having fell over "sober " on mothetsday the staff assumed that i was intoxicated when i hadn't been drinking! i was then further mortified when the bar manager saw me on the floor and proceeded to say "look at her, she can not even get off the floor she is that drunk" un-beknown to her i had fractured my arms in three places and broken my wrist sober and could not move for the pain no! first aid, no record incident book, no water offered infact it too a customer to use the correct lifting maneoveur to pick me up safely! Ive called twice, emailed them etc as the lack of first aid, health and safety, customer care, aftercare and over presumptuous staff is unreal! accidents happen....they dont care, assume you are drunk, get u out of the bar and refuse to accept responsibility! Will not be back....

Lovely bar, horrible security, no need for such verbal abuse. Yes we have had a drink, two to be exact, yes we had a few silly stamps on cheeks, out to have fun on a summer night. Disappointed
