Vile food slow service and cheap ingredients makes for one big waste of money my advice stay clear

Hard to judge as I have only had "A Joe's" a couple of times but each time they were very nice...

Quite cheap and offer delivery at about £2.60 so handy for a supper on the run (or in pub)

Not the best Chippy in the world but a decent one in an area with tons of bad options.

Rude staff, was late. low quality food. waste of time and money.

My order through just eat was two hours late. I was waiting patiently until they updated their order as having been "delivered". I called the restaurant to ask them to explain this and was hung upon pointing out it was scamming the just eat system by pretending to make orders on time. I then called just eat to deal with this. When the food came the delivery driver flat out refused to even let me get word in just shouting do you want your food or not. Frustrated with not getting a word in edgewise. I kept asking him to let me speak. Him replying only that he would "sort me out". He began pushing and grabbing me at which point it got heated and shouting between us developed. He was insulting and abusive. All to avoid even taking a complaint to the shop. He threatened me several times before my flatmates had to interject and he finally left. Disgusting way to handle everything from start to finish. AVOID COMPLETELY.

Reasonable chippy but the place can appear a bit rundown and neglected. One side window has been broken for a while. Can be a good alternative to Marini's, if that chippy is busy. Joe's is normally cheaper, but Marini's can have promotions where the suppers are cheaper.

Joe's covers the standard fare for a chippy and the foods is good quality. Some items are done from the freezer, so can take a bit of time for something not standard or ready. Fritters are also either available or not.
