John Fraser & Son

We attended the funeral of a dear friend and I have to say I think John Fraser and Son did our friend proud! I can't say thank you enough, to the team at John Fraser and Son for looking after my friend and her family in the way that they did. It made a very difficult time a little bit easier for us all.

Our family has always used John Fraser & Son and over many years we've always been well looked after. Impeccable arrangements and attention to detail. And we love those classy silver cars too!

From the moment I contacted John Fraser & Son, Sarah Maclean was a tower of strength to me and my family. Her calm, helpful and efficient manner immediately put us at ease. The funeral arrangements were seamless and she is a credit to the funeral profession and her employer. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough, their professionalism and attention to detail were first class.

I cannot thank the team of John Fraser & Son enough for their thoughtful, caring and supportive handling of my mother's funeral. At such a difficult time it was wonderful to know that we were all in such good hands. The funeral home itself is beautiful and gave us a great space in which to hold a very fitting farewell. Vicki and her team were at all times patient and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Appalling behaviour.
We phoned them for a quote for a "basic simple funeral", which they are legally required to supply, and they insisted we go in to see them. On meeting, we again asked for a quote, and they avoided the question. We asked a third time, and again they tried to avoid answering. At every stage, their representative seemed to be clearly attempting to sell us extra services and extra costs, by leveraging our sadness and implying that we would be guilty of not caring otherwise.
Then he informed us that, completely without our authority, they had instructed Raigmore to transfer the body to their mortuary.
Between Raigmore and arrival with WIlliam T. Frasers, the wedding ring "went missing". I asked J Fraser's about this, and received a very terse and unhelpful email response.
