We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year. We have had another fantastic year at John Marshall & Son. We are so grateful to every single person who supports us. We have gone through some huge changes in the last year again. We seem to have continued our amazing growth and we are attracting more and more new customers. If it wasn‚Äôt for our amazing staff there would be no butchers. All our staff are hugely committed to their jobs. With almost every member of staff doing 70-80 hour weeks in December just to ensure that we could meet demand for our customers our staff really are the heroes of the business. Watch out for lots more changes to John Marshal & Son in 2019 ‚̧ԳŹūüôŹūüĎŹ

My goodness what a day. Probably one of the busiest days John Marshall & Son has ever had. With a queue of between 30 to 40 people for around 5 hours is was absolutely manic. Thousands of pies sold in one day. We are sorry to all those people who tried to get a pie but all our pies were only for those people who ordered. Thank you to all those who stood in the queue we hope it was worth it. Note for next year.......get your pie order in early ūüĎć

With the ever high demand for a John Marshall & Son steak pie this new year we have officially filled our order books. We will have to stop taking order for pies. With literally thousands of pies to make we will be flat out over the next 3 days to meet demand. Please accept our sincere apologies if you missed out but we have to have a cut off point. Just need to get your order in early next year. Order books will open in March ūüėú

We will be open until 4pm today to service all the orders we have to make up. All 12 of our staff are in over the next few days to make sure all our wonderful customers have the best dinner on their Christmas Day. We believe in community and family and want to provide the best produce possible and ensure everyone has what they want on Xmas day. Just tried some of their new marinaded chickens and a meat basket. So good and well worth a try.

I’d been in to ask about lamb for a tagine I was making for my Mums 60th back in December. I don’t know what’s what when it comes to meat but Mr Marshall knew what I needed and went out of his way to organise it all. The lamb was so tender and delicious, great service. I’ll def pop in again when I’m in the area.

I can never forget the taste of the steaks i had when i was there, i always mention to Dee here

He's the best in the town never empty there meat and what they do with it is really nice xxxxxxx

Great family run butchers, the Clyde Tunnel sausages are awesome! Also love the beef sausages and steak pies- every xmas eve I can remember we have had a couple of big steak pies!
