Something new to try this is a sourdough pitta 🥙 bread this one has lettuce 🥬,tomato,cheese and coleslaw I was well impressed with my choice it was so nice.

coming fom halkirk i grew up on johnstons shell pies,custard whips and butterfly pastries,whenever my dad is coming to visit he takes orders via hugh johns in halkirk,wont eat any other pie :),specially aberdeenshire ones!

We are a 6hr drive from the bakery and had to get 8 yum yums brought to us when a family member was visiting.

We just love them! Best we have tasted!

If you are hungry for breakfast head to Johnstons and ordered the mega-breakfast! My husband sure enjoyed his yesterday! Excellent value and delicious too! The staff is so friendly and helpful, many thanks to them all! (My soup was delicious too!) :)

Best fruit scones I have ever tasted. It's a pity I live so far away. I can only get them when I'm visiting my daughter.

Synthetic cream in birthday cake, didn't like. Also hair found in cake. Didn't complain as was already home, I suppose mistakes can happen. Won't be going back.
