Exciting times at Jolly's Hotel!
Two exciting events tomorrow at Jolly's.
First up, we have an event for ale lovers, with brewers from WooHa coming down to discuss all things beer! There will be a selection of their beers to try and an opportunity to chat to the men behind the brew! Starts at 6pm.
... That's not all! Tomorrow is also the launch of our new menu, with many exciting changes and additions. Come down tomorrow to try some of our new and improved dishes. These include the new lamb shank meal, the Ultimate Burger, a delicious vegetarian lasagne and from now, all of our Rump Steaks are Abderdeen Angus beef.
Not hungry? Thats fine, as there's also a wide range of new drinks available too. We've got two brand new craft ales SIXPOINT Resin and Treason West Coast IPA from Uprising. If you're more inclined towards the spirits, we have a very special new rum, as part of our Rum Shack. The Ron Capaca 23 year old dark rum is a drink to savour.
That's just barely scratched the surface, there's much more to discover, so come down and see for yourself. There's something for everyone! We hope to see you there!

**** CHARITY TABLE_TOP SALE ****
Tuesday 24th May, we are holding a Charity Table-top Sale - much like a Bric-a-Brac sale - where all proceeds go to Clic-Sargent, JD Wetherspoons chosen Children's Cancer Charity.
Pop-in to see what we have: from clothes to soft-toys to other items such as lamps, and a electric heater - all items will be available to buy from 10am onwards!

We still have some limited rooms available for the Friday night and Sunday night - currently we are fully booked the Saturday night; our rooms are all en-suite, come equipped with a hairdryer, have access to FREE WiFi via TheCloud, and have tea/coffee facilities in each room.
Rooms for Friday night - £60.00 for standard double, and £70.00 fo the family room {sleeps 2 adults & 2 children or 3 adults}
... Rooms for Sunday night - £39.00 for any rooms; currently we have 13 doubles still to let; and with Bank Holiday Monday you can escape and sleep off the night before.

**** NEWS ABOUT JOLLY'S HOTEL ****
As some people are aware, our normal Fish Friday club hasn't been run over the last few weeks due to an ongoing technical issue with our main-line fish-fryer... Well, the good news is, this issue has now been resolved, therefore, in 24hrs time, we will now be able to sell Fish 'n' Chips at Jolly's Hotel, as well as the welcomed return of the Fish Friday Club this coming Friday 29th April just in time for Bank Holiday Weekend.
The Management at Jolly's Hotel would like to thank our patrons for their continued patience over this matter, and we look forward to serving you our Fish Friday Club this week.

Over the weekend from Thursday 24th March to Monday 28th March; we had two fun competitions here at Jolly's Hotel for the kids'... Easter Bunny Colouring Competition and Guess the Eggs in the Jar... we're proud to say that a group of regulars chose:
Liam Westwood - aged 6, entry to win the Cadbury's Creme Egg Mug 'n' Chocolate to win; a message has been left on the contact to come pick up his prize... see picture below...
... And from the Guess-The-Eggs Entry - Amelia Nicol aged 10 won with an almost correct entry of 162 eggs in the jar; the actual number was 159 different eggs; a message has been left for her to pick up the prize as well...
