Soon children all over the country will be getting prepared for going back to school. This is a hugely expensive time for parents and sadly some children will dread the new school term, as they won’t be getting a new uniform or shoes.
I make no secret of my humble beginnings, and many of you will be aware of how Like many others I grew up in poverty. Times were tough and I still feel the shame of going to school in rags.
... So it was an absolute joy to see a wonderful message from a lovely lady who wishes to support a child returning to school by providing a full uniform in time for the start of term. To match her amazing offer we will use some of our Christmas funds to clothe and shoe another child.
In confidence please feel free to send a message making a request. Please, please though only do this if it is for a child in true need. Don’t ask for help if it’s not really needed as it will deny a child who really does.
Also note that there are lots of school uniform banks around to lend support to those that need, this is just a little more help.

Can’t tell you how fantastic today was at Jollytots & Cookies celebrating 5 year old Leo’s birthday. First we had a visit from PC Andy Robertson who enthralled the kids with showing off all the kit that a policeman carries around. He even presented the birthday boy with a special set of handcuffs. Then we had Liam Muldoon Fire fighter helping to put the children through some training and letting them try on his uniform.
... It was soon time for some dancing and helping to join in the fun we were joined by two police officers from Glasgow who presented the birthday boy with an invite to visit their station for a tour. They even presented him with some colouring sheets and a box of chocs.
Last but not least Marshall from Paw Patrol showed off his dance moves and watched the children perform an obstacle course.
Fair to say it’s a birthday that Leo and his family won’t forget in a hurry x

Had a request from one of our customers asking for a new mummy meet up with babies. Going to host a wee fun session on Monday 23rd July at 11am. Free to come along and join in with some puppets and parachute play. If you can join us then just let me know. I’ll host this in our party room and everyone is welcome. A tiny wee snippet of some of the dinosaur fun we will be having on Wednesday afternoon. Only a couple of spaces left. Zoo tots will be bringing their life like dinosaur puppets plus two live reptiles. We will have dinosaur holographic and will be creating fossils too. £9 to include a juice and a cookie plus music and movement. It was a roaring success last week.

Is your little one crazy about PJ Masks? Come along at lunch time today or tomorrow afternoon to meet these fab guys and have a wee sing song and dance.

Where has this place been all my life?! What a fantastic and stress free day I had today. Great play area for the children to play while you can have peace to have something to eat or a cup of tea.Children can play shops & dress up.Not only that but they took all the children into the party room to sing songs and play games.This place is my haven and I'm moving in .

Went to the Christmas party with a friend and our two boys (ages 2 and a half)! Wow they absolutely loved it! The staff were just great with them, the boys really got involved in it all, the singing, dancing, shouting out wen the puppet show was on and they just thought the snow machine was AMAZING!!! The room was decorated so well and there was just the right amount of kids there so we weren’t walking over each other. Santa was so patient with the boys and got them talking and laughing for the pics. Overall it was a great way to get them into the festive spirit. We all loved it. Will be back next year. Thanks xx

We had our sons 5th birthday party here today and it was the most fantastic experience! Everything was perfectly organised, the kids were kept very entertained and Gail had even gone to the trouble of arranging Police Officers and a Fireman to attend. In all the years of parties - I have never been to a more amazing party. Thank you so much for the precious memories you have given our Leo and us!

We absolutely LOVE Jollytots & cookies cafe! It’s one of our favourite places to visit. Food is delicious with a good variety of healthy options as well as yummy treats/cakes. My 2 girls love the imaginative play spending hours of fun while I can relax & chat with friends. I cannot rate the parties enough, they are the best! My daughter has had 2 birthday parties (frozen & Minnie Mouse theme) each one was absolutely brilliant. The effort the young girls go to with their singing and games is second to none. We have also been to the princess tea party and Halloween party which again are amazing! Defo 5 star rating and would 100% recommend to anyone!

Update to layout & toys since our last visit, looking great. Always a lovely lunch, and a chance to actually eat it as the kids play! MUCH better than all the identical soft plays. Also, they have a card machine now, which makes it much easier!

This really is a brilliant place with lovely staff, delicious food and a fantastic play area for kids. My two girls (4yo and 2yo) love it here. My eldest attended the Easter party yesterday and she had a ball. It was the first time we've been to a party here but won't be the last. Five stars all the way!

This place is awesome! We took our girls today for the Princesses tea party and it was a delight. All the actresses were lovely and engaging and it really was a magical afternoon. Looking forward to visiting again.

Thank you so much to Jellytots and Cookies who ran a frozen themed 4th birthday party last weekend (May 5th 2018) for our little Connie. I think it’s safe to say all the kids had a complete ball and so did we! Anna and Elsa were simply outstanding and the themed games were amazing. I think Jellytots and cookies might have just ran the best party we’ve ever been too. Truly a hidden gem. Well def be back and will be highly recommending the Frozen party to all our friends!

Perfect place for both the kids and adults. I take my two grandchildren regular. I prefer it to the other type of soft play (A bit like putting your kids on giant hamster wheels).

The role play and imaginary play is more beneficial to child development than just running wild.

The staff are lovely, nothing too much trouble and the facilities are top notch.

Food excellent and a comprehensive menu for a cafe.

A clean safe place.to play.

Nearby swingpark also a plus

Nipped in here today for a coffee and to feed my 5 month old son while my 5 year old had his lunch and a play. My older boy was so excited when catboy from pj masks appeared and the owner invited him into the party room. Away he went so excited and even came back to say the lady said I can get a photo if u give me your phone.



Doesn’t seem like anything big but when you are busy feeding one kid and wouldn’t of had the chance to take a photo something simple like this makes a huge difference � meant my older boy wasn’t left out when the other mummies were taking photos of their kids!

Myself and my friend attended the princess and knight ball on Sunday with our 3 year old daughters. The time and effort which went into the event was clear to see. Both professional and magical. The girls (and mummies) had such a great day. The princesses and fairy godmother were exceptional and the happiness on all the little girl’s faces was priceless. The face painting was also absolutely amazing. We can’t wait for next year already. Well done jollytots x

My comment will be a little bit different, as I am not speaking as a parent, but as a "guest". I come every Thursday to deliver some French lessons with La Jolie Ronde, and I wanted to say a big massive thank you to the amazing and always very welcoming team. It is each time a real pleasure to come. Merci pour tout! (Thanks for all) Sandrine xx

Love this wee cafe. The staff are friendly and attentive and my daughter loves the playing areas. The food is delicious too. Would definitely recommend this wee gem of a place �

It was our first time in. The wee one loved the play area and it was easier to keep an eye on her whilst eating which is often quite hard to find. It was great to see a baby gate on the front door, nice touch. The food was also very good. Despite having an issue with payment the excellent customer service far outweighed any minimal inconvenience. Will absolutely be back

I met my friend here today with our kids (mine are 3 & 1 1/2). It was so nice to be able to actually sit and have a proper chat while the kids played away quite happily in the play area without having to chase after them every 2 mins! The food and cakes were delicious and the staff were very friendly. I live on the other side of Glasgow, but will definitely be coming back here!

First time here and what a great wee place! Great choice in the cafe all while the babies play! Themed rooms ie a jail, a cottage a fire station etc, and a sensory area for the smaller ones as well ***** 5stars, well deserved x

Finally made it here today, we brought our kids over from Drumchapel and they loved it.

Great place. And the food was fab, best burger iv had in a long time. Great job guys...

We had a Princess party, with super heroes as well to keep everyone happy. The kids were happy throughout, Shannon and Lucy kept the children entertained with singing and games. We had nothing to worry about for the whole time we were there and the kids all enjoyed the food provided. No worries, children all having fun, don't think you can ask for more from a party!
