Reviews
A wonderful and local institution. Don't let any negative reviews put you off - you'll avoid disappointment here and it's the best pub in its vicinity.
Very nice staff, lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices. Didn't try the food but it looks good!
Had a birthday lunch there. A no-fuss but attentive, helpful service for 2 children, 1 teen and 7 adults, including 1 gluten and dairy-free and 1 vegan. Everyone had a good meal, and they let us bring our own cake! Haven't been there for some years, but glad we returned
This friendly pub is great to catch the afternoon sun outside, and very comfortable inside, with a tasty range of good beers and spirits. It's been a place I've either recommended to there to meet at, or been invited to and I guess that tells you a lot about it.
Nice alternative menu. It's a Swedish chain and the menu reflects this. Child friendly. Not particularly wheelchair friendly though unless you are prepared to sit outside
A funny place this. Really like it but the beer is a bit meh. Caledonian 3 Hop is about as 'craft' as it gets.
It's overpriced and poor selection of beers. Its always too busy and the food is just mediocre. It could do with a good clean too.
One of Edinburgh's popular Swedish bars. Good food and drinks but it's location makes it a bit busier and less personal than its smaller sister bars. But still a favourite for that part of town
Great location, good atmosphere. Outside seating great on a warm day. Tasteful decor of a historic building. An Edinburgh landmark of old. Drinks a bit pricey. A bit new town hipster.
