Joe is a true craftsman. Truly wonderful repair shop doing great work.

I was on holiday from Australia and my Nikon D 90 stopped mid shot in London. The next day we were in Edinburgh and goigled camera repairs. Not only did Joe open up for me when he saw me outside ( his shop was closed), he looked at the camera straight away, AND, lent me his D 40 body to use while I was in Edinburgh. We couldn't get the new mirror drive in time to fix mine, so he told me to keep his for the rest of my holiday ( a Baltic cruise) and post it back to him when back in Australia! He wouldn't take any money and trusted me to get it back to him. I can only say he is one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

The chap who runs this is very nice and the shop seems popular. Unfortunately I left my anamorphic adaptor to have the rear glass cleaned and not only could he not do it he told me it didn't need done at all and would shoot fine without a clean. A month later (I know, I know, I wish it had been sooner) I looked at the rear element again and he had tried cleaning it and left very heavy and abrasive cleaning marks on it. Very dishonest and a very poor job. Avoid JP for this kind of work.

Issue with auto focus on my d5100 nikon. Out of warranty , Joe resolved the issue in few min. Since it was a small issue he did not charge me as well. Very professional , will recommend
