Hi my name is Julie and I live in the Mossend area of Bellshill, I have been a childminder for 4 years now and absolutely LOVE what I do. During the last 4 years I have minded kids of all ages and enjoy watching and encouraging them in all stages of development.

During their time with me your child /children will do a variety of activities and no day will ever be boring for them. My day tends to me be dependent on the weather as when it is sunny I like to make sure I have the kids out and about enjoying the sunshine. When weather is a little more Scottish we will do indoor activities e. g. arts and crafts, painting and colouring and making cakes.

My Experience

The experience I have first and foremost is by being a mother and bringing up my own 2 kids. I understand how difficult it is for parents going back to work and leaving your child in care of someone you don't really know. I used a childminder for my son and remember the feelings I had, with that in mind I am sure I can put your mind at rest and guarantee you that your child will be very well looked after and that they will love coming to my home each day. I treat all children in my care equally and give them a home from home experience, ensuring they look forward to coming here each day.

My Qualifications

I have completed a first aid course recently as well as child protection. I have also taken part in a food and nutrition course to help with children's diets. At my home the fruit bowl is always full and I will always encourage your child to eat healthily.

My Activities for the Children

No two days are the same when your child comes to my home as I believe that a variety of interesting activities are vital to a child's development. With this in mind in any given day, our activities can include reading, painting and colouring, baking cakes, playing in the garden, learning games, playing in the sand pit, guessing games, arts & crafts, going to the park and much more.

My Availability

At the moment I have availability but spaces do fill up quickly and can change, so please contact me for more information. I also offer school /nursery pick up locally.
