Lovely hotel with staff who could not do more to make our stay a pleasure. Would highly recommend and look forward to a return next year

I stayed at the camping field of the Jura Hotel. They had hot showers (1 pound for 4 minutes) and laundry facilities (4 pounds per load). The view and location were great and it was the perfect place from which to explore the island.
Jura hotel is situated in craighouse. Overlooking the summer islands. Rooms are spacious. The restaurant is first class. The staff are friendly. There's a bus that picks you up from the ferry & takes you anywhere on the island. On the north side you can see golden eagles & the mountains are called pals.
Stayed for dinner and overnight B&B. Loved the whole experience, the food is served in generous portions and priced to suit any visitor across the menu. The room was spacious and we had great joy from our sea view. it was also stocked well with tea and coffee and the shower was brilliant. Breakfast was also generous and more importantly very tasty! Finally all the staff were really pleasant, happy to accommodate and very courteous. I have no reason not to recommend the hotel to visit Jura, it's a must!

Totally wonderful place. The hotel is really comfortable and cosy. The food is great and the owners are adorable and always willing to help.
very disappointed with this hotel and the island of Jura.
The room is comfortable but very bad service, no one at the reception for information or assistance. The hotel is virtually unreachable by phone, nobody answers. All the staff did everything and anything and n is no manager.
Regarding the restaurant, the food is very good but the prices can vary from night to night for the same dish (eg the price of a half lobster dish from 21 to £ 25 the next day). There 's only one hotel and restaurant on the island ...
Very difficult to go to the hotel (no taxi, almost no buses) which is 8miles ferry staff and provides no help (wait 3 hours on the ferry dock .... I advise not to go on the island without a car.
The island is of no interest, no pets (so lucky to see a panda a deer ...) and almost no footpath (the drills are closed). There are other much better places in Scotland.
