Was very well looked after on arrival after a very long journey from New Zealand. There had been a mix up with my room booking but this was very quickly sorted out. The staff were exemplary!
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good choice for breakfast. Rooms clean and comfortable.Beautiful location. Very close to the station and Royal Mile high street. Definitely recommend.
Very nice and very friendly staff food service also good. Parking at the Railway also good.
This hotel is so central! Perfect for exploring Edinburgh and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely stay again!
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Perhaps a wee bit small by U.S. standards, but perfectly acceptable for our needs.
Really nice hotel. Ok, our room is a tad 'tired', but nice, big and cosy, the bed VERY comfortable, the staff extremely friendly and helpful (plus there's late-night room service). Yes, we'd stay here again
Once again, we had great service at this Jury’s as well. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The servers in the bar area were very friendly and personable. We will stay here when we return.
Lovely place right in the middle of town. Well recommended it!
4th time at Jury’s excellent hotel great location close to the station and all the fab things to see and do x comfy beds plentiful breakfast what more do you want
I booked a 1nt stay to celebrate my partners 60th Birthday. I paid £63 in total. We were given a superior suite which was massive with a great view and a very comfy big bed. The decor in our room was dated but wasn't offensive. We also received a complimentary bottle.of Prosecco which we enjoyed in the bar while munching on the nibbles, which the lovely friendly staff kept topping up.
The breakfast was self serve buffet which was very good with lots of variety. We filled our boots anyway. We would book here again no problem.
Great city centre location, very close to the Royal Mile, Waverley station and Princes Street. Don't expect luxury in here but it's good value for money and it does the job. Staff are very helpful too. Room was a decent enough size. This is an ideal hotel if you spend most of your time going out exploring and you'll only be in here to sleep
the reception and staff was great.the room is good for the price.the bathroom needs renovation..no exhaust, shower high to adjust, water is fair didnt have best shower to start the morning; no aircondition just a fan, toothpaste and toothbrush for a £1.its good for a 3 star hotel.breakfast fair.location accessible.
We checked in fine
We were on the second floor over looking the railway station which is not far away .
Our room
Was ok
Bathroom bit dated
A bit of bathroom bleach could have done with been sprayed round the door x
He's was very cosy the pillows duvet
The noise from.5 am.on Fri morning was very bad x
Breakfast was not has expected
Get your own tea coffee
Plenty of fruit cereal pastries
The cooked was ok but was not warm to say it was busy
The toaster are a laugh worst than the ones abroad
Check was great
To say we only paid 55
The location is very convenient, 3 mins to station and walking distance to city areas. We got nice view with the castle and very big room. Breakfast was buffet and good selection between hot food and cold food. However I must say that the toilet was not clean enough, it got molds on the wall. And the room was a bit noisy due to many drinking people down on the road.
Hotel is looking a bit worn these days but staff are good, food is nice and beds are comfortable.
Visited the Jury’s Inn in Edinburgh for the first time on Sunday .....
I’m a regular visitor to the Glasgow one & I have never had any complaints about it at all ....
unfortunately Edinburgh Jury’s was very disappointing, it was supposed to be a superior room but it definitely wasn’t .....the bed was pushed up against a wall at one side & the other side only gave us a small gap to get out of .....
on leaving I spoked the receptionist who assured us it was a superior room ....well if that was a superior room I wouldn’t like to have seen a normal room ....
So won’t be rushing to Edinburgh Jury’s again ....Glasgow all the way !
I stayed one night, which is enough due to the following issues:
Cracked sink in the bathroom
Luke warm shower even on it's hottest setting
I was told I could book a table in the restaurant but when I did, it wasn't open. Private party.
Lots of noise from outside due to boisterous party Gowers.
Noisy radiator so I turned it off.
The only good thing is it's close to Waverley train station and central to Edinburgh with easy reach of the castle and princess street.
Great location next to train station, friendly staff , and good selection for Breakfast. However I was extremely dissapointed with the state of repair of the rooms.Found them very dated and in poor repair. This was meant to be a nice experience with my children and parents but didn’t feel a nice ethos in bedroom.
Location aside, this is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever had the misfortune of staying in. The hotel reception areas and bar are ok, and the staff seem very nice however the rooms are terrible, badly planned out, awful views if you’re at the back of the hotel and the bathrooms very dated with a toilet that when flushed sounds like a foghorn constantly for around 5mins. The walls are very thin so you can hear the noise from other rooms and corridor, hotel seems to be popular with stag do’s so it was quite noisy for our visit. Over all given what we paid ( and I appreciate it’s city centre, but £300 for 2 nights isn’t exactly the cheapest of places) I feel very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel for the price Vs facilities at all.
