Here are some signs that your electrics are dated. Socket outlets mounted on skirting boards. Lamps blowing regularly. Fuses blowing regularly. Socket outlets mounted on skirting boards.... Only having one or two sockets in each room indicates your electrics could be old and dangerous. Re-wireable fuseboards do not have the protection or safety of modern consumer units. The use of extensions can be dangerous .
YOU ALSO SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT ALL SMOKE DETECORS SHOULD BE CHECKED REGULAR AND CARBONMONOXIDE DETECTORS AS THESE SAVE LIVES and remember the new legislation for landlords stay safe everyone.
