Kailyard Music Group Description
When do we play? - Our main focus is as part of the regular Sunday worship throughout the year at South Leith Parish Church. We practice every week, working on new songs and those requested for the Sunday services.
Where do we play? - In the Church as part of the worship and also regularly at concerts and events all over Scotland.
What style of Music? - Almost anything, from unaccompanied singing through to Rock, Jazz and Pop. Our talented musicians perform on drums, electric, acoustic and bass guitars and keyboard, providing accompaniments for our 4 singers who can perform in a variety of styles. When in concert mode we perform a wide style of music, including our own arrangements, original written material and some Christian and secular pieces.
