Kamran Tandoori

For nearly 30 years the owner and staff of this tandoori have been delivering excellence to the people of Coatbridge and surrounding areas. I've been a customer for for many of them. This type of food is closest, in my opinion, to homestyle, traditional curries. Desi style. Good job, Sultan & staff. - From Graeme (the one who always asks for recipes). Ha!

I was a patron of Kamran1 many years ago and I found the quality of food/cooking exceptional .Since then I have moved away and recently returned to Coatbridge.I decided to take a walk up Gartsherrie Road and stop for a little bit of nostalgia. Thought I would get a couple of starters to take to my destination as a wee nibble. My veg pakora were dark brown and over fried and solid on the outside while the centre was doughy and undercooked. The chicken pakora were solid and on trying to eat them it was like chewing needles!! Nice new shop front, and counter lay out full of chocolate bars!?! The most disconcerting is you have painkillers and other medicines on display . Your marketing manager needs to take a look at the message being sent out. You would not go to a chemist for a kebab! There are shops around you that can provide this service. BUT IN THE DISPLAY CABINET OF A TAKEAWAY! REALLY?!?!
