Kate Steenhauer

Live drawing is at the root of my work, it is what I enjoy and can lose myself in. Risk in the act-of-making is what I continuously seek. There has to be some kind of challenge that holds my attention and keeps my response alive.

As a fine artist I produce contemporary work on heritage, landmarks and industries using oil paint and intaglio printmaking techniques.
