Visiting a few weeks ago with my fiancée we were delighted to eat in this establishment. A very wide selection to choose from. Friendly staff, lovely tables which we wanted to take home with us... �

Would definitely recommend and should I ever be up in Oban again will likely return.

Visited Kebabish twice last week for a meal.Thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff were polite and the service was great.Would highly recommend.

The new kebabish restaurant buffet is amazing, I have my selected places for certain food so only ever ordered a kebab as I go elsewhere for curries, but after having the wide range of different curries to choose from which they tasted very good so will probably start ordering curries from the takeaway menu aswell, I am fussy about my food and I can't complain.

I come from Glasgow and you don't get the proper chicken in most of those places back home, will most definitely be goin back on my next visit to Oban, the way the place has been transformed. The starters,mains and desserts were all spot on and staff very pleasant.

Was also surprised to find Chinese in the buffet aswell thought it was just Indian so well done guys keep up the good work

It was so nice to be greeted by someone who was very pleasant, had a smile and best of all made eye contact when speaking with us. This is something I do not find often in shops, restaurants or many places now a days.

I was surprised when I entered the restaurant, it had a very pleasing atmosphere, and felt a Friendly place (I had visited the building when it was Pavlova) The Customer service was great from the second we entered the restaurant to the second we left.

Okay, lets get on to the food :) Again I was pleasantly surprised (although I knew the food was going to be good) The aroma made my mouth water, the display of the food was pleasing to the eye and made me want to get a plate and start to eat! The choice of food was very good, and I found out as soon as I took my first taste I was not going to be let down. I have been to these Buffet Restaurants many times in Edinburgh, Glasgow and other towns and cities, where the curry you have to kind of start fishing in the sauce to find a slither of meat....I have to tell you, at Kebabish the curries were full of tasty and tender meat!

I can highly recommend this Buffet Restaurant, everything from the Staff to the salad, to the meat to the curries.....And oh my God the cakes are to die for! But please don't eat all the Belgian chocolate cheese cake, save some for me, it was simply the best I have ever tasted!

The price is right too, again I have paid much more than £16 for a buffet and been very disappointed, not the case last night at Kebabish. Even my Son was impressed.

If I could I would give 10 stars, but the only way to find out is to visit yourself!

In my opinion Kebabish absolutely deserves 5 stars. Having moved from the city to Oban 5 years ago I am well versed with both city and rural establishments. Naturally, Oban is slightly more expensive than the city but the quality of the food served in Kebabish is always of a very high standard. The establishment itself is ALWAYS spotlessly clean and hygiene standards always maintained to the highest level. Where busy periods are concerned, yes this may incur a slightly longer waiting time but this is standard in the city also! I would like to take this opportunity to thank Kebabish for a great service and also look very much forward to the new buffet service, an innovative and dynamic concept in the Oban market. Well done Kebabish!

I've been in quite a few buffet style restaurants and this one was one of the best that I've been in yet. Great selection of starters, mains and desserts (including a chocolate fountain) but along with the extensive spread came great quality to my surprise. Only downside was no alcohol licence but then that was probably good as it gave our gang of eight a break. Although everyone had stuffed their faces and found it hard going to drink thereafter.

I was so sorry to see the rants on the Oban Information page about Kebabish, it really got out of control and should have been stopped before it did. My family have used the takaway on a regular basis since they opened, never once had bad service or a bad meal. I was given a guided tour of the new Buffet, Kitchen, stores, prayer room, toilets and offices, a cleaner place, and the friendly staff would be hard to beat.

Lovely immaculatel restaurant. Pleasant staff but could be quicker at taking plates away.

Not the best buffet restaurant iv eaten in but not the worst. Plenty to choose from but sauces in Currys etc were a bit watery. Cakes were a bit tasteless as if baked without sugar. However the rest of it was fine. Drinks are a bit pricey...£2.50 for a small glass bottle of juice. They dont have a license so no alcohol served.

Just popped in with my partner for some dessert. Despite there only being us and another couple, the service was very slow. The waitress was nice and chatty though, just bad service.



I ordered waffle with ice cream. The waffle was burnt to a crisp, still scoffed it all down though as the ice cream, sauce, and cream, were sweet enough to negate the burnt taste.



Partner ordered a banana split and she said it was nice.



Would probably give another try.

had a kebab last night for dinner and i have done nothing but be sick now for over 24 hours with suspected food poisioning. filed a complaint with the enviromental health today as i think this place needs closed down.

Avoid at all costs.

Would of gave 0 stars if I could. Was very disappointed and disgusted tonight that me and my boyfriend ordered a delivery they said half an hour ended up being more an hour and half nearly food came and the pizza my boyfriend ordered didn't have the extras on it that we asked for (and I was very pacific on this ) and the extras we paid for. We phoned them up and the attitude we received down the phone was disgraceful I was told the extras were on the pizza and I didn't make it they did so I didn't know we were not getting another one and just deal with that one. The man Evan found the situation very amusing. Horrendous customer service being displayed. My boyfriend then walked all the way down where the boss admitted that there was not the extras on the pizza that were ordered and for his staff to make another. And my curry was also very poor. So now our lovely night together has turned into a disaster with my poor boyfriend eating a pizza walking home and me eating my dinner alone. I will never be ordering from ur establishment again after this tonight. And not the 1st time this had happened either sending shocking looking pizzas. Just a wee bit of advice teach customer service to ur staff severely lacking it.

What a joke! The person that makes the Sundaes is off today so you cant have a one what sort of an excuse is that! If its on your menu you are making it. Train your staff properly!

Waited half an hour in store waiting on my food people were coming in after me and leaving with there order!! Shocking service and will not be back when we are over at oban as I am from greenock!! I am with lots of people who have travelled from greenock and they got served at the same time as me and all got there food 10 minutes after ordering!!

Used to like this place but gone down hill big time was in for ice cream took 3 members of staff to get my order correct. Tried telling me they didn't have certain flavours or toppings that were clearly on display. And charge me full wack.. I'll stick to Ben and Jerry's from now on

"What flavour is your J2O?" "Oh it's just fizzy juice" should have been a clue! Anyway we ordered. 20 minutes or so later when we queried how long we would be we were told that our order wasn't being done as they didn't have one of the dishes. 20 minutes of just being ignored! I wonder how long we could have waited?



So we asked for our money back. The owner behind the till said "I don't care, we offer great food (If you ever get it) and great service. " when I questioned whether a 20 minute wait to be told they don't have something I was told they usually take 45!!



Avoid, Wetherspoons is warm you'll get a seat and it'll only cost about a quid more!

Poor buffet selection and overall standard and service not up to standard. Soggy chips, dry donner meat just not at the same level as the grill house. Staff Rude. The pizza was absloutely revolting. Gordon Ramsey would be turning in his grave if he was dead. Wont be back.

Ordered a takeaway at 7.45 tonight of 4 burgers, a small munchies box, chips and cheese and a pizza was told half an hour. Well that was an absolute lie as the person who went to collect takeaway is still there waiting! Can't really call it fast food if you have to wait two hours for it!

Horrendous customer service me and my friend received tonight!!! You told us our order would be half an hour, we waited 1hour and 20 mins. For the ice cream to be completely melted and slush melted also. You then charged us for 2 cans of rubicon which we never received and when your driver came back the 2nd time to deliver them they weren't even what we had asked for! Lacking severely in communication in this place, check over your receipts before sending them away maybe???? Won't be ordering from you again.
