The National Trust for Scotland's Kellie Castle in Fife dates from as early as the 14th century and has magnificent plaster ceilings, painted panelling and fine furniture designed by Sir Robert Lorimer.
Kellie Castle & Garden Description
The grounds and garden could easily be a day out in themselves, with acres of woodland walks, a bird hide and an abundance of nature. The Arts & Crafts garden is packed with beautiful borders of old-fashioned roses and herbaceous plants, as well as fruit and vegetables – all grown organically.
Seasonal events throughout the year give you even more reasons to join us for a memorable trip into Scotland’s past.

The glorious grounds and buildings of Kellie Castle are the subject of this half day class, with Steve Bretel, sketching in charcoal and drawing with graphite. This opportunity is a fabulous creative experience in itself or can be preparation for further upcoming classes in drawing and painting to be held later in the year. We’ll look at effective composition, to...nal range and aerial perspective using the trees, flowers and buildings as our inspiration. Suitable for adults at any level. Lightweight drawing boards and easels plus a wide range of materials will be on hand. Please bring a selection of your own if you have them. Join like-minded people in a sociable, supportive and fun atmosphere.
