Congratulations and well done to Leanne Wilson who won the prestigious Babe Zaharias Trophy at Luffness golf club on Monday. There were 140 players in the field and Leanne had the best scratch score with 72

The finals start at 12 noon. Join us to support the players during the day. Forecast is dry and warm with sunny spells later in the day, we've lots of outdoor seating outside the clubhouse to view the golf from whilst quenching your thirst. Come up to the club later on for the presentations and dance the night away as we welcome back singer and guitarist Ben McIntosh

Our Gents Open on Saturday was a great success with 103 competitors. Although it was breezy, the weather was good for the whole day for players. The winner of the ex-Laddies trophy was Sean Laidlaw who was presented with the trophy by Kelso Laddie Sean Hook. Ian Lauder won the scratch trophy. All holes were sponsored and many thanks to all the sponsors for their support of this event.

On Saturday we welcomed Kelso Laddie Sean Hook to the club. Captain Willie Redpath presented Sean with a momento and a busy clubhouse were entertained by Gary Cleghorn. A great evening was had by all! We wish Sean all the best for Civic Week.

Yesterday we held our 3rd and final Championship Qualifier. Draws for the Club Championship, Donaldson Trophy and Millar Trophy attached. If anyone has any qualms or believes there may be discrepancies in any of the draws please don’t hesitate to come forward. A couple of hours have been spent today compiling these draws and we hope nobody has been missed out and apologise in advance if any errors have been made. Best of luck to all competitors.

Many thanks to Charity Begins at Home for our finding award which will be used for improvements required in our Clubhouse.

The team at Kelso Golf Club could not have done more to make my 50th birthday party go with a swing. It was one of the best nights of my life and that is thanks to them. Would not hesitate to recommend the club for a private function �

Brilliant course layout for a pleasurable days golfing. The course is in excellent condition and it was a pleasure to grace its fairways, Staff were very friendly and made us feel ever so welcome. We will be returning for another crack at this gem in the borders.

Have been going to the golf club for many years my dad was a lifetime member but sad to see that his golf competition was not posted on site �

Course in the best condition that it has been in for a few years the green staff have done a magnificent job considering that the head green keeper has only been there for three months excellent job
